victory thanks for the tips. I am printing them up to go on my kitchen notice board.

suggs and victory, well done on your weight loss. It does make losing a lot of weight seem more reachable and possible for me. Thanks

I really am so very sorry Honey, and I edited my message to put you in the list as you along with some others are long time members :)

I knew I would make mistakes when writing a list, typical bloke!

Oops - I meant to post my weight results earlier but got so excited by Suggs posting I forgot!:o

Anyway I stayed the same - which is fine with me because I was lucky not to have gained! If I hadn't gone straight back on plan last Tuesday as soon as I got back I wouldn't be feeling so [STRIKE]smug[/STRIKE] chilled out right now!

    All the best

Well done Suggs, fantastic weight loss.
Thanks for the tip list Victory
I too will be printing it off and adding it my fridge.
I've been a good girl this week and am looking forward to my 1st weeks weigh in on Wednesday morning. I've semi planned the week ahead and as I am back at work tomorrow it will be easier to stick to the plan.

Many congratulations Suggs on your amazing achievement, I'm so proud to have been a little bit of help here and there for you.

I haven't been around much (and thanks for the welcome back Petrichor and Lois) because we finally found out what was wrong with my Dad and it was an appalling shock to be told he has stomach cancer with secondary bone cancer and only a very short time to live.
As you can imagine, everything thing else has been put on hold while we rallied round to keep Mum from collapsing with grief. It is their 59th wedding anniversary tomorrow, so the house is filled with flowers and balloons, which seem so out of place somehow when we all feel so sad. The only bright person is Dad who has accepted the prognosis with cheerful determination to live long enough to see his granddaughter married in 4 weeks.

I'm sure my posting will be hit and miss over the next few weeks/months, but I will be keeping an eye on the thread when I can so carry on with all your hard work and I will be back, I promise!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Its good to see you back Consultant but so sorry to hear the sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I do hope that your father's wish to be at the wedding comes true. If we can offer a shoulder to cry on or to offload some burdens then please do so, we would all be happy to be able to offer you some support in return for the support which you have given to us over the past months.

Suggs ;) I was just jesting, I knew you meant to include me really :D Blokes, eh?
