Good morning ladies  I'm sat waiting foir the kitchen fitter. The contents of my kitchen are taking up space in the rest of the house, but the upside is that I'll have a shiny sink and clean worktops without even trying :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Going to check on a list :)

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying
Wipe down all worktops, remove anything that shouldn't be there.
Vacuum floor, mop if hard floor - don't forget pick up anything that shouldn't be there and rehome.
Clear and wipe down dining room table.
    Deep Cleaning
Clean kitchen cupboard doors, don't forget kickboards.
Wipe and shine kitchen sink, don't forget the taps and the gunky area at the bottom of the taps - I want you to see your faces in those shiney taps :D
Clean kitchen window making it sparkle, don't forget to clear the windowsill of unwanted gumph!!
    Decluttering
HHC - put on some lively music and have a bop around while doing this.
Clear out any cupboards that are getting overfilled with gibble, rehome if possible if not bin!
Clear out all out of date food from fridge, move nearly out of date stuff to front ready to use.

Tuesday - Living Room, stairs, landing and hallway
    Basic Flying
Vacuum floor, remember to pick up anything that doesn't belong here.
    Dust, even if around everything.
    15 minutes hotspot
    Deep Cleaning
Wipe all electricals, light switches, light bulbs and anything else that is shiney :D
Tidy up coats, shoes, umbrellas and bags - rehome if not needed downstairs.
Wipe sticky marks from walls and paintwork
Wash any smelly throws, cushions/covers even dog toys if needed.
    Decluttering
Get a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be. You could delegate and give everyone their own misplaced things to deal with :D
Phone a friend or loved one, catch up on the gossip or just to tell them you care xx
Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc :D
Sort through any magazines or paperwork lying around. Any that you don't want/need maybe you could give to the Dr's or Dentists near you.
Declutter those pesky spider webs, they are making an appearance now the weather is turning warmer!

  • Morning everyone

Healing vibes to Skint - what happened? Sounds sore and I'm impressed you managed to even think about painting yesterday. Well done.

Going to make a HH contribution once I've had breakfast and gotten ready for work. Hoping to rake the back garden between paid jobs today, but we'll see how many spoons I have left. Back is still sore and probably didn't help doing the front garden yesterday, but I always think it's better to keep moving if you're stiff so you don't seize up completely.

Got a fair bit done last night after the school run, but time will be a bit short tonight as DD2 has got an eye test straight from school then we've got just over an hour for me to feed them and fly before swimming lessons.

Will check back in later / tomorrow to update my list.

Skint - Ouch! Healing vibes coming your way by the truck load!

Yesterday passed by in a flash. I did lots of ironing, but I still have loads to do. Did some paid stuff, then went with DD to Mr A's and did a shop, without a proper list and managed to forget the binbags :rotfl: Did get hovis, warburtons, milkroll and hot cross bun loaves reduced to less than half price :D Going to turn them into sandwiches for DD for her packed lunch and freeze them ;) I need to get a delivery soon as I need heavy or bulky stuff again and its the same cost as getting a taxi home only without the hassle of doing the actual shop :p

Found a hairdresser that can fit me in today (I know I only had it done Thursday but after a few days it is still too long and my usual hairdressers is closed due to illness and I want it done before Friday when we are going away for the weekend)
Chicken in the oven cause I'm hungry!!!

OH just home from work and getting ready to go to a funeral.

Going to have some SFC and maybe do some more bits before work and the decluttering of more hair :)

    Hi Folks

I'm in again, thank you for all the lists.

Life just seems to be racing by, March already..........where is time going.

Some (insert rude word here) drove into the back of my car the other day, while I was waiting to cross a roundabout, he then got out of his white van, came round and told me it was my fault for waiting at the roundabout and not crossing into the path of an oncoming car that did have right of way...he then told me his brakes had failed, he then did a 3 point turn, using said failed brakes.............when he drove the van off, after I had photoed his van etc, the police who were passing did stop and ask if I was oK and I am, then went to look for him and said van with faield brakes as they said it shouldn't be on the road!!!

    Anyway
Daily stuff is up to date
    WM is on the go
Kitchen floor needs mopping later on
Awarding myself the afternoon off my other work, and going to do the kitchen floor, iron, clean my car inside and outside, and hopefully set some trays of seed veg and flowers in the plastic greenhouse thing I have.

Worst of all the post office is about to put the price of stamps up, I think from April, it is going to hit the small parcel sellers........those listing on ebay for April you will need to check...........
