DSS - they've caught up with me for my migration over to ESA :( Got the preliminary letter telling me they are going to phone me, not that I will answer as I don't know the number so won't pick it up. Still they can send me the form afterwards and then we will see how I get on from there. Luckily I made a Dr's appointment for tomorrow to get myself on the list for long term phsychotherapy, and to sort my meds out again. Thank gods I have letters from recently from Dr's re my diagnosis etc.. So I am hoping these will all go in my favour.
(((HUGS))) Natty it's a horrible feeling, I know only too well. When they wrote to me, they had a totally wrong phone number for me, so Mr LW called them, and also told them I'm phone-phobic so they were NOT to call me, he'd give them his mobile number. Advance warning, the form, when you get it, is very daunting. They gave me a month to fill it in and get it back to them, I assume you'll get a similar time to do yours; take your time with it, and if you can, get some help. Mr LW filled mine in, and under the bit where it said "if you are filling this form in for someone, why are you doing it for them" (not quoted precisely, but that was what they were asking, iyswim) he put something to the effect of "My wife cannot hold a pen for long enough to fill out your narrative boxes, also the form was too stressful for her to cope with".
You'll be fine, Natty; you know where my pm box is if you need a friend - I believe Dragon is well-versed in these wretched forms, too.:o

I think I've just been censored for using a naughty word!

In my earlier post I said I wouldn't swap my 'insert the plural of what Mrs Slocombe called her cat', for those old enough to remember that programme.

It came out as a series of ! marks!

I wasn't being naughty, honest guvnor!!
:rotfl:The smut-filter really is laughable! Did you know you have to pr!ck the top of a lemon drizzle cake before pouring on the lemon syrup, f'r instance; and I dare say a certain town in East Lincs would be "exclamation mark"-ed out, too.:D

Kaz sorry to hear about your car

    Skinty ouch

Grass cut, our front, the verge, next door's front, next doors back. We are on a corner us in one road, them in the other so a lot of front grass!

Just having lunch then popping back out there, another HH in next doors garden then hopefully an hour in my front after I've played swap the washing on the line.

This wall was the Nemesis that snagged my arm :mad::mad:

This room still needs a lot of skinty attention even once I have painstakingly applied the coffee and chocolate to the walls, there is all the glosswork including on the door to LR and an identical one going to kitchen.

But seeing as the EX took a sledgehammer to the 1970's built in cupboards 6 years ago leaving bare plaster with gaping holes in and and exposed stack pipe with wall insulation poking out everywhere, even this white paint job is neater than anything I have seen for a LONNNNGGGGGGGG LONNNNNNGGGG time :j:j
The cold never bothered me anyway

Kazwookie I hope you're okay, even if the car's seriously dented by events.

Skint I didn't doubt that you had been flapping a brush and/or roller about, I was just wondering if it was that urgent. It must have seemed so at the time, as you shoved the spattering steak in the pan. I wish I lived closer so that I could come round and do it for you, so that you could t a k e i t e a s y. Please.

My computer is reconnected, and I have a sparkly window and desk. The room downstairs is ready for this afternoon's arrival and I'm going to set this office up for N who will be on the futon for the next five nights before I crack on with the shelves. That way if I flake out half way through, it won't matter. (I wish, sometimes, I had half Skint's energy, but I just haven't. Probably a good thing, bearing in mind how accident prone I was last year.)
    Better is good enough.
