Now I know it's in line with the MSE way but can people stop making money as it really confuses me when you declare and I have to log it on page 1. :rotfl::rotfl:
Please just stick to spending it.

Glad to help....sorry it'll cost money though ;)

I agree it feels like these things crop up - trying to be very MSE and have budgets for lots of big bills that I pay into monthly. I've got a Christmas budget but never really thought about a birthday, anniversary, mother/father's day budget -doh!

Think I'll go off and jiggle about some spreadsheets

    Hi all,

Am officially writing this week off!!!

Went for my food shop at the weekend and after a failed trawl of Poundland and 99p Store I clocked up £126 in a regular store... It was double nectar point weekend - but as my planned food budget for the month was only £80 I've kind of blown it... That said - I stocked up on stuff like condiments which are expensive, and laundry liquid etc...No real bad stuff other than a bottle of wine, some crisps and a couple of bags of sweets. So mostly healthy stuff... just LOTS of it.

From here on in I'm just going to try and stay within my 'other spend' budget. I had planned for £40 fuel... but when filling it annoyingly went to £40.03!!! My OCD wouldn't let me stick at that and had to round it up to the nearest £5!!! (so spent £45).

I need to learn to do weekly shops!!! I just find it hard - especially if there are offers on with food I always eat... I seem to go into overdrive and spend like I'm preparing for a famine! I do comfort eat/buy too... so maybe need to look at what I'm compensating for at the moment...

Anyway - sorry for the EPIC fail... Will be on strict damage limitation this week now - and aiming for no spend days through until weekend...

    Morning all :)

Well considering i am still yet to be able to spend my £60 budget properly as i don't get paid till tomorrow i can see today being a very small spend day! This budgeting with no money is good for limiting your spending though lol. I have £1 in my purse for today, but we don't need anything at all, so should be ok till tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day
