    I've been Money Tipped!
I've had a few good bargains.

    Morries:
Loads of bread at 5p and 9p (max), bagels and pick and mix rolls (packed in 6 for 9p), speciality breads etc. Even large in store baked loaves at 9p just for the birds. lol
    Also in Morries:
Smoked haddock 45p and 49p, mackerel pate x 2 at 19p each (froze 1), bags of mixed salad for 9p.
Also 300ml fresh double cream for 5p and some blue cheese for 25p, That was last night, so pasta in blue cheese sauce today with chopped up smoked gammon.

    Sainsbury's last night:
    8 x large oranges at 5p each.

**** check out Sainsbury's freezers as I also picked up 4 packs of frozen lamb loin chops (6 chops per pack - 500g) reduced to only £1.38 (from £5.50). Lots in my store and I should have taken more. I need the space for other bargains though. :D

    Happy hunting.

In the next small town, there is a Co-op with a end of aisle chiller full of reduced sticker items! The poor code checker struggles to find room for putting more stuff on! Its the same size chiller Asda uses for their Whoops items only quarter a mile from the Co-op yet, 40-45 times the size! Though with Asda you can actually move things about without knocking 4 items out of the chiller.

Its too overbearing with so much choice!

I settled for Truly Irresistible paella, TI Millionaire's pudding and a salad bowl for £3.

Our local Co-op is pretty hopeless for the yellow stickers, there are plenty of them, but they don't take much off. Even when they reduce them, they are still more expensive to buy than anywhere else, Co-op is very expensive.

Not when things you like or would buy are 75% off!
I also prefer their chicken as it's higher welfare so I would rather buy a slightly reduced coop chicken (I isually buy them down to £3) than buy a value tesco or lidl chicken :)
I find getting good quality/luxury items for cheap/cheaper is a bonus when we struggle to get by. x

Another Co-op I visit quite regularly often has Elmlea in the reduced. When I was in Sainsburys, I had a quick look at the UB date on the Elmlea - 2nd and 3rd week of August.

Just shows Co-op food stores are a rip off.

Called at Morrisons on my way home from work today, bought 4 carrier bags of food for £5.44. Milk, sausage rolls, veg, fruit, pasta sauce, bread, muffins, lots of items at either 19p or 29p. I also bought 2 packs of Linda McCartney quarter pounders, instead of £2.60 a pack down to 25p a pack, I thought I would give them a go, even if not nice, they only cost 50p. Was very pleased with today's visit.
