I've had to calm down my ys shopping! I've done quite a bit recently, and had some really good savings, but my freezer is full to bursting now! I honestly don't think I could fit 1 more thing in there.
I've also run out of tupperware, as when I get reduced meat I tend to cook it in a chilli/curry/stew and freeze portions, so I can defrost as and when I need them/don't have time to cook in the evening!
I might have to join the 'eating out my freezer' thread, and avoid the reduced section until I've eaten it all!!0 -

So addictive! My freezer is so unbelievably full though! But that does mean I won't have to buy much for the near future, just fresh salad, milk etc!0

We wishmy (6') freezer is fit to burst!
I am trying to get it down (and failing miserably) then the other day I walked into Co-op and for once the stickered meat was really cheap (all very healthy looking).
I got a Lamb joint from £12 to £5.95, 2 x 500g Pork mince @ £1 a pack (that's 4 meals for two of us), some Braising Steak £2.25 for 400g and 5 packs of Chicken breast £3.25 each which gave me 17 portions.
All told the meat was £49 and cost me £22.95 (was £26.95 but I had a coupon for £3.50 off a £35 spend, the bits I went in to buy made up the rest as shopping came to £35.10).
By removing all packaging and bagging the meat I managed to get it in the freezer.
My only trouble is that as there are only two of us anything I take out does not make much of a spaceIt just has to be done though as you can't pass up a bargain.
Just glad my small freezer is sat empty in the Garage as when Aldi/Lidl get their Turkeys Crowns in I can put a few in there.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0
