Just wanted to share a bargain I got :j

Was in T€sco last night and had a snoope at the yellow label items and they had some lamb mince reduced from £4 to 80p - so I thought I will get it - got three packets and went to checkout.

At checkout the girl rang them all up and said 40p - so I handed it over and thought odd but wasn't going to argue. When I looked at reciept it said 80p each as I thought but at bottom it had deduction of £2 as it said buy 3 for £10.

So if I bought it at full price it would of been £4 each but because I bought 3 I would of got it for £10 but as they were reduced I got it for 40p.

Should I of said or does this glitch happen?

It happens all the time, although I've not heard of it happening in Tesco before!

I've been loitering on the forums for a while so I thought I'd actually post for once!

I've casually shoppedfor ys before, but inspired by this thread I thought I'd try it properly today!

I went to Waaitrose at 6pm and as I walked in I saw they were starting to reduce, so I loitered!

I got quite a wide range of bits, some well reduced, others not massively so, but I'm happy with my first proper haul! £23.52 worth of stuff for £10.64!

    2 x spinach falafel - £2.29 a pack down to £1.95 a pack
1x large bag of spinach - £1.50 down to £0.42
    2 x Sweet Romano Peppers - £1.79 a pack down to £0.32 a pack
1 x Lemon Rasam soup - £2.49 down to £2.09 (not a huge reduction but its delicious!)
    1 x sweet chilli noodles - £1.39 down to £0.89 -£0.78 for a2 for £2 deal so 11p officially!
    1 x big packet of chicken thighs - £4.10 down to £1.45
    1 x salami with fennel - £2.69 down to £0.89
    4 x Rachel's organic kids yoghurts - £1.50 down to £0.55
    1 x Edamame and wasabi dip - £1.69 down to £0.59

So all in all pretty chuffed and some good stuff in the freezer and some cooking to do tomorrow! :)
