Reduced bargains and yellow stickers shopping

Our local Tsco Xprs has started stocking a load of different products recently- quite a lot of it's getting Yellow stickered at the moment, so today was bargaintastic!

2 packs of 6 kiwi - 70p
2 trays of ready-to-cook roast veg trays - 36p
6 packs of pre-diced onion 60p
2 packs of finest sweet red peppers - 30p
microwavable new pots in butter - 30p
4 pork loin chops - £1.40

Several times recently I've seen fresh sardines heavily reduced at our Tesco, which has a fresh fish counter. They normally have to be used that day and I often have another meal planned, so I haven't bought them very often. This week I did buy.
Well over a kilo of fresh sardines for £1.80, I filleted them, otherwise I'd have been grilling whole sardines all evening. Absolutely delicious.

Lots of pre prepared veg reduced in my c*-*p at the moment!
Got 2 x broccoli and cauliflower florets for 0.38p
Carrots 800g 0.30p will last for ages. They look perfect!
Very happy considering the price of broccoli at the moment!

If they haven't been previously frozen, I usually freeze them in portions.

Picked up some french brie yesterday in Waitrose which had been reduced from £2.75 to £1.09. When I got home I realised it had gone through at the original price, took it back and was refunded the £2.75 as a gesture of goodwill so got it free.:)

Another good haul today!

2 packs of Polish deli sausage @10p each
2 Sultana cakes @ 25p each
1 pack Tsco finest pork sausages - 33p
2 packs Chantilly carrots @10p each

Total= £1.23 (originally: £12.50ish!)

Sausage for OHs sandwiches, cakes into the freezer for visitors, sausages into the freezer, and the carrots I'll prep and roast for carrot hummus for my lunches next week :-)

I haven't seen anything for a while but must have been in the right place tonight at the right time. All from Asda:

3 x packs of 8 fresh beef burgers reduced from £3.50 to 75p each. There were 8 packs there but didn't take them all!
1 x pack of organic chicken breast reduced from £5.50 to 50p
1 x steak reduced from £4.50 to 50p
1 x pork joint with stuffing reduced from £10.50 to £1.50

It makes me crazily happy when I get an unexpected bargain like this!

Morrisons this evening because I got a flyer with coupon offering £5 off a £40 shop..picked up YS wild Alaskan salmon fillets 4.55 which sounds expensive for YS but they were proper big fillets not strips and really nice (had for dinner). Also got 2L Yeo Valley organic whole milk 39p.

i love reading this thread...i get a few bargains from the coop bread quite often and fruit and veg...sometimes meat but that is hit and miss did get a chicken on monday for £1.75 so quite pleased with that
