I've been trying to do this for ages now, but never find anything that great to be honest.
I have a Morrisons, Tesco, ASDA and ALDI by me, what times of day or days are best to actually go ?

I rarely manage to get anything reduced at the shops in the town where I live, but do get some good bargains at those in the surrounding towns for some reason
I go to some on my way home and Lalso go to Waitrose for things I like from there in the hope of picking up a bargain. I find that there is some reductions first thing and then a lot more at about 6.30pm. I try to buy meat at Waitrose so find any reduction is good for me, it all helps0 -

You really need to do your own research to find the best times/stores/days for the stores in your area. All stores are different ( even within the same chains ) and do reductions that work best for them.
Start off by going around 2 or 3 hours prior to closing time - or around 6/7pm if they are a 24hour store.0 -

From the co-op 2x reggae reggae pizzas £0.85 each instead of £3 each..
Go 1 hour before closing for best results!0 -
I got around 20 items in Morrisons for less than £10 today, spinach, salad, lots of bread, rolls, red cabbage, other bits and bobs
Morrisons near me reduces stuff quite early in the day, particularly on saturdays, so you might not get the discount youd get at other stores, but you can go in around 3pm or so and find some decent bargains.
Asda and tesco tend to have their biggest reductions from about 7pm onwards, Ive never seen aldi reduce very much to be honest, the odd sandwich here and there and thats about it.0 -
Excellent bargain at Mr A last night, butchers choice 10 packs of burgers reduced to 35p... Loads on the reduced fridge and now 60 in my freezer, think we are all set for BBQs if the weather improves :j0
