Tempura prawns
Meatballs
2 packets of tattie scone
2 WW ready meals for the freezer

5.33 for the lot :j

This may be store specific but tesco today had reduced items in fridge and freezer aisles with long use by dates so may be discontinuing.

They also had trattoria Verdi frozen pizzas for 49p ! - deep pan ham & mushroom or thin crust ham & pineapple. Didn't buy them so no more info on these but real bargains.

In the 'damaged' area I managed to get pack 12 hula hoops half price £1.43 as outer bag ripped, when I opened them at home there are 13 packs inside :rotfl: also 3 packs of square crisps from multipack for 34p

I love ys shopping! I am so happy when I make the dinner and work out that our lovley meal for 5 has cost 1.60 or often less. I do try not to take too much though as I know lots of folk have much less money than me.
Best this week was Waitrose with 650g mince for 78p and 2 lovely large fish down to 67p. With 6 kiwis in tesco for 25p perfect condition.

Thanks to YS and lidl weeks shopping £25.75 with good fish, meat and lots veg and fruit for 5.

Cereal can differ so amazingly in price. My son eats masses for breakfast and masses for supper so constantly buying. Luckily he isnt too fussy so we always have huge boxes of weetabix if nothing fancier.

packet of Polish sausage slices (I can't spell real name of it!) for 55p - will do 4 lots of sarnies, stashed in freezer in little foil parcels

Dried cherries for baking 55p

Big bag grated mature cheese £1.05

Also not as cheap as some bargains here but day before mum got some very nice posh leek and cheese stuffed mushrooms for £1.45 from deli place half price, said they were even more delicious reduced!

Earlier this evening in ASDA, Longwell Green ...

Warburton sliced wholemeal rolls, pack of 6 ... 2p!

One pack in the fridge for us for lunches over the long weekend, one in the freezer for Lynne to take home with her on Monday.

Asked OH to nip into Mr T's for stir fry veg on the way home and he arrived with:

Stir fry pack 3p
Sunflower spread for baking 1p
Pizza 1p
Jam doughnuts 5p

Don't think I will beat that :eek: but he has now caught the YS bug big style and intends to pop in again tonight on the way home.

Just got back from Waitrose where they had fore rib of beef reduced from £15.99 p/kilo to £5.95 p/kilo
