Oops. Best open letter then :D

Strange, mine came separate. Welcome letter just contained junk like the T&Cs, banking code, understanding overdrafts, etc.

I shredded them anyway, lets see if they ask again.

Here's hoping I don't actually need the debit card or PIN now, as its a little too late.

Don't you need the card and PIN to log in to your account using the card-reader, and to authorise outgoing payments?

After seeing this online I popped into my local branch to ask if the new flex account had the free travel insurance and as I expected was told it didn't.

However, the manager informed me that there is a 3rd Flex account being launched I think he said on 11 March and details will be released next week so don't going jumping in just yet.

He said there would be a small monthly charge but it will have a lot more benefits, ie WW travel insurance again, free mobile insurance and a good interest rate. I asked if it would be similar to the 123 and he said yes but he didn't think the balance for the higher interest would be as much as Santanders £20000! He wasn't permitted to give me any more information but asked if I would like to make an appointment for early next week to see an advisor.

Will wait to see what they unveil next week before jumping in.

No sign of this 'new' account as yet. Does anyone have any more information, perhaps? :)

Ask her if there is a limit on how many accounts you can open and get that interest on. May open up 8 accounts later.. :p

HOPEFULLY i will recieve my customer number so that I can login to nationwide later today when I am home from work.It has taken an absolute year for them to send the bits through. May give them a call tonight if I havent recieved anything still.

I have just called local number 01793810948 for confirmation re how many accounts you can open and earn 5% on(if you pay in £1000/mth) 2 in total.
1 in your own name and 1 joint names=2 in your own name maximum

    I am opening 4:
    1 for me
    1 for hubbie
    1 for daughter
    1 for hubbie+me

    Good Luck
