Yes it makes it hard to sell your 99p auction large 2nd hand goods on!0 -
I can understand why people might prefer shoes by courier, but the thing I was bidding on would easily fit into the new small parcel rate at £2.60 second class, and that's not really too great a price to pay for convenience.
But the seller had opted to send everything by courier, so I just hit the back button on my browserEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Not entirely sure to be honest! It doesn't show on any of their price tables, just says to go to a link which isn't much help really. I was going to wait until I tap it in to the new OBA to get a price but I expect I will continue to use City Link via ParcelMonkey as I do now.DAK please, those who have a business account, what the price for 2-5kg parcels is? As I have significant amounts in this weight bracket.0 -
Just phoned customer services...
It looks as though there is mayhem there..
In fairness to the guy I spoke to, it looks as though my details have now been allocated to a sales person, who he instant messaged my details too, to phone me.. so fingers crossed i might get a phone call today...
by all accounts since last week the volume of inquires for a OBA has gone up by 200%Work to live= not live to work0 -
I already have an OBA, and have received the new price guide today. I think I will probably go for the Royal Mail 24 and 48 services, which seem to be governed by weight.
However, there is nothing in the guide about airmail. I currently attach a first class PPI label and send by airmail. Am I right in thinkingI will now attach a RM 24 label and and airmail label ?You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

I'm not sure about the labels however I would suggest continue using the 1st class PPI label. They will still be valid for non-RM24 customers and make more sense than a suggested 24hr delivery for an overseas parcel.charlies_mum wrote: »I already have an OBA, and have received the new price guide today. Here are the new prices for Airmail on OBA - note the new weight band structure...

I am ordering labels in at the moment. I am ordering the new 24/48 labels which can be used from April, the old style ones can be used until June.
The Airmail labels stay the same - I am ordering from these guys http://www.ppi-labels.co.uk/id108.html as it's easier and cheaper than printing from home for the time being...
Do these look right then?0 -
just a warning
it seems a lot of the new RD labels are in use
If you are holding some, dont use them until April 13th
The PDAs & RM GTT guns are not set to deal with them and tracking will be a real issue0
