Airmail has only been letter and parcel and as far as I can see that has not changed.
Incidentally, my cardboard gauge arrived this morning together with an A4 explanation sheet which is needlessly complicated- one of those pathway things. If it fits through slot A then it is a letter, if however it fits through slot A but is wider than the grey area go to step B. etc.....
Yes mine arrived too and there is no mention of the 16 x 16 parcel - it just states does it fit A or B or C - if not it is a medium parcel. This is going to be confusing at the counter. So you're Red John? I have to say I'm a little disappointed.0 -

Thanks for that, most of my stuff goes to the US anyway so no real changes for me, phew!0 -
70x40? Is that the full size of the label offered by someone on ebay or the size of the PPI impression? Can you show a link to the listing?Ha! yes of course!
One last question - what size PPI label do you recommend which will include all the necessary info? is 70x40mm enough for parcels? I think I will 1000 ordered from Ebay to start me off...0 -

OK, I see now. That will be fine but you could get away with the smaller/cheaper labels too...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330885691100?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I use the 54x14mm PPI impression on a 110x75mm label (which also holds the customers address and my return address). I use this on everything, from the smallest letters to the largest parcels.0 -

Actually I think the guide is wrong, it does not take into account the exemptions for a small parcel.
Hopefully I am just having a blonde moment and am reading it wrong- they wouldn't send out an inaccurate guide....would they?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I can't work out how to upload a scanned copy- give me a moment....(sorry I can't seem to make it bigger)

Note step 4 it says 'ANY' No's means the item is classed as a medium parcel. One of the requirements is that it passes freely through the 80mm slotI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Mine arrived as well with instructions. No mention of any exemptions.
On the back of the template it says you can download the instructions from https://www.royalmail.com/parceltemplate but the link does not work...0 -
