Hi all, been a bit quiet on here lately, so my news is that I've sold one of my painted novelty bird boxes on eBay!

So will make a couple more, and try to do a bit more on the promotion of my website, as eBay & paypal take too much out :( of the profit margins.

  • I have a HUGE pile of stuff waiting to list on ebay but Ive lost the motivation to do it :( Its nothing special so won't sell for a lot but if I well 15 items for 99p thats nearly another 1% so really must get on and list.

I do have some money I need to take to the bank, will have to have a count up and get that done next week.
  • Just think people its now less than 14 weeks until Christmas so those who have let the surveys/swagbucks etc lapse over the summer now is the time to kick start it. Aiming to double my swag bucks earn for the year and come away with £40 of Amazon vouchers.

Don't forget to head over the the referrals board if you are looking to sign up to something new.

Also don't forget places like Top cash Back and Quidco for any bill switching. This includes Sky/Broadband/mobile phone renewals as well as the usual car insurance/gas/electric etc.

    Hi everyone!

Relisted 6 things on Ebay yesterday but made the most of the nice weather we had and spent the day out with the family :)

Got so much to list though, mostly 99p stuff.

Not made any money to put aside this month except the £150 we paid to the CC at the start of the month. We've been a bit slack with the massive overdraft payout at the end of august.

Its the husbands birthday this weekend, we have some friends coming over so i need to get my thinking cap on for making some nice foods and best place to get a bit of booze from!

  • Congratulations Rushy on the bird house sale :T

And well done everyone else who keeps crossing off their %'s :j

Well I don't have much news other than I have £5 waiting to be paid into the account. This is from a craft fair I did on Sunday which was a total disaster. I sold £6.75 all day and the stall cost £12 so actually I made a loss . But as I had already paid for the stall ages ago I am able to take an extra £5 out of my cash tin and put it in my savings account. :o

As usual though won't count it until it's actually in the bank :p

It's my birthday tomorrow and I am sort of hoping for a cash present from my mum and dad - I don't really need anything and I just want to see a few %'s coloured in :D

  • where is everyone?? its coming up to pay day so fingers crossed we'll have some more poeple declaring! id hate for this thread to die off - im so close to my target!!!!!!! its getting hard to stay motivated now though, feel like if been 'trying' so hard for so long! have to resist the temptation to treat myself for being so good in trying to pay off debts. treating myself got me into this mess in the first place!

anyway as im offline for the weekend i think ill declare my saturdays credit card payment and say im now at 44.62% not long to go! and my cc looks so much better than it did! now only £3,600 left to go and ill only have 1 more cc to pay off, and that is the smaller debt anyway. after that ill prob overpay the mortgage but that'll prob be my plans for 2015! must stay in the here and now!

    good luck felllow 1%-ers!
