  • Hi Everyone,

    First time poster in this thread, just discovered it and I think it's amazing! Can I join in?

    Thinking of my debt as 100 little steps till it's paid has really inspired me. I've done my sums and here are my figures;

    1% = £78, Paid so far: 29%

    So I have 71% to go!:D

    Already I'm thinking of ways to reach the next 1%.

    Keep going, you will get there!

  • I like this thread A LOT! The 1% chunks is very motivational.
    Since I joined this thread on 18th Aug (three and a half weeks ago), I have paid a whopping £1,531 off bills. I still have a long way to go but for me that equals...3.75%!
    I'll update again next month!

    Hope you had a lovely anniversary break happytails :D

    Well I have finally got to the bank to pay in my £182 craft fair earnings and I also transferred over £100 from my other bank account which was made via Quidco & Mystery Shopping over the last few months. I also added £18 from Avon so:-

  • I love this thread too, it really keeps me motivated!
    I usually only update monthly but am feeling proud that I have managed to clear a credit card. Doing loads of extra work last month really helped. So my debt is sitting at £18693 meaning I have now paid off a whopping 22%.

    Not only that I also had to buy a new laptop (macbook ;) ) plus school clothes for my son (and me!) without adding to my debt. Just one credit card with interest now and im hoping to kill that one before christmas. My habits are definitely changing for the better. Here is to the final 78% :rotfl:
  • this could do with a bump!!

    sold 14 things on ebay - made about £110, so once everyones paid up ill be adding to my totals! ebay can be like a 2nd job sometimes! think the post office lady must dread the sight of me!
