    Hi everyone :)

Not sure if I was added to the list when I commented last week. Cant seem to find my name.

    Anyway it was for £1500/ 1% £15

Since then I have been trying my hardest to think up ways to get my 100% - I have listed a quite a few items on ebay but nothing that I think will bring in loads of money.

I am also trying to get all my crafting stuff up on etsy but its so time consuming!

    Hi Niknok,
I find it helps me just to think of getting 1% at a time. I am hoping to sell CDs and DVDs to make 1%, and books for another 1%. If I have any spare money sitting in my bank account then I put it towards my %s too. I had found I never got anywhere by trying to do the whole thing together.
    Good luck.

Just sent more stuff to CEX today some hopefully that will be another £28 in a couple of weeks.... Have stuff for ebay too but didn't get around to listing it for free listings this weekend. Going to photograph it all this week ready for the next free listings.

With the nicer (hopefully) weather arriving it might be worth thinking of doing a car boot sale for any of you who have lots of 'bits and pieces to shift instead of ebaying it all......

Me too - it makes it seem so much more acheiveable to think of £50 as oppose to £5k!!!

I've just checked one of our bank accounts (its the one I used to have my child benefit paid into along with mystery shopping earnings and a few other bits - I sadly now don't qualify for CB anymore due to OH's earnings :(). I was really surprised to see the balance and accordingly I have just transferred £520 into the savings account :j

I have obviously been really good about not buying new craft goodies (as thats what this account was mainly used for) - either that or I've been using our main account a bit more ;)

Either way I can still declare more %'s so:-

Plus for tonight's dinner we are having spagetti bolognase which I batched cooked a few days ago and popped into the freezer ready for an occassion like this - a few more pennies saved today :D

    Hi everyone,

Nothing on EBay sold (I accidentally listed everything for 1 day on Sunday :o oops) so really trying on fb but it is hit and miss :(

Got £20 coming from music magpie soon as sent my DVDs off last week.

2 weeks to payday and hoping we are going to have money left over (the boiler needs seeing to but we can manage without it for quite a while so may get my dads friend (engineer) to look at it and see if we can get it done soon or wait til after payday.)

Need to make 2 more birthday presents this week and another the week after, which is my brothers, he will be 22 so thinking we are going to get our leather craft out as I can't think of anything to sew for him nor any suitable fabric.

also need to look at rough costs to re insure our cars later this year as i want to be able to pay atleast 1 in full (they are £500+ each ATM)

You must have some bits in, odds and sods, list them and we can see if you can incorporate them into some dishes.

Id look at getting a big sack of potatoes and having potato with each dinner. Maybe a big bag of pasta. Corned beef is good (You can make a corned beef hash cheap!), Cheap cereal and longlife milk? Go to the supermarket after 7 today and see if they have anything reduced especially meat? A frozen bag of mixed veg? I hope those ideas may help a little and maybe reduce your amount of spend on the CC. :)

Well my insurance looks like it will be about £800-£850 for both of us together annually. I think at the moment its £1300 (half is annual and the other is monthly) so a big drop :) We've got 6 months and a bit until its due so think we will get this overdraft out of the way, the holiday and the revised work in the house that needs doing then get some money put aside for the car insurance. It never ends!! Then ive got the CC to pay off and the balloon payment on the husbands car! All in 18 months. Thats about £10,500  I think ill stick to breaking it up in mangeable amounts and doing a debt/saving at a time!

ok off to go tidy the lounge and find some more bits to sell.
