£73.80 spent on parts for the car
really hope that it fixes it and it isn't something else more costly, at least it was (spare) cash from the weekly budget as £40.00 we use for fuel wasn't needed so only £33.80 down. We have nothing else to pay out or buy as already done the weekly shop ready for back to school with £99.22 left in oh's account, lets see how much is left on Tuesday when it's his payday so I can make some more payments to Halifax. I know I should be concentrating on the cc but a while back he got a letter saying they would review his account in May and I have a feeling that they will withdraw his overdraft facility, so I am trying my best to make a lot of payments to this. I am at exactly ...

Heya folks! Friday again! They certainly come round fast don't they!
April & May are always expensive months for me as most of the family birthdays are crammed into the middle 4 weeks. Trying to come up with MSE ways to help out with present ideas.
To the new joiners a big welcome, you will be added to the list shortly, (I do updates in batches) - it's great to have you join us! Please feel free to get started on your first percents and post up updates!!
Porgie1985 - Glad to see you join us, I read your original thread and I'm sure you will make great progress!
PrettyPlease - If you want to split your 1% down, you could do it one card at a time starting with highest apr first. You can put all your focus into one debt.
Braddy970 - Great update! From 10 accounts down to 4, that's fab!
CraftingMad - Great to see you back! I'm glad you had a great hol (with even a little $ return too)
As for updates from me, I've started doing Valued Opinions surveys as they have reasonable rewards (£1 a time)
I'm also on the look out for a new contract as I think I've got about 5 weeks left on my current one and I want the transition to be as smooth as possible!
We have added some new products on our wedding site, they have gone down really well when we have shown customers and have lead to a few bookings alreadyAug & Sept are going to be such hard work but it's all in the name of progress!
I have got back into keeping my notebook of balances updated and it makes a real difference. Going to do a grocery shop online tonight, will pick a cheap delivery slot and have a strict list. Hopefully that will stop impulse purchases & eliminate 2 hours of trolley driving, packing & unpacking.
Have a great weekend everyone!0 -

Thanks for adding me little miss uni debt!
Im ok keeping my 1% at the big amount . TBH it helps me focus as I have a decent enough income and really need to get it down. I can manage 1% per month (haven't been!) but need a push to try just a bit more - mainly through economising!
I did however have a chat today which may lead to some adhoc extra work - yay!!0 -
Hello! Haven't posted for ages and need to check in with my %. It seems quite high but I was given £600 by my granddad so I used that to clear some more of the debt. I figured that once all my debts are paid back I will save up £600 and use it for something really useful and worthwhile as that makes me feel better about how I've spent his money to pay off debt. So....
Member No. 203 = 44%
So I now have to work out how to pay off the remaining £1000 of this debt and then onwards and upwards to the next debt of many.
My ebay sales seem to be slow at the moment and since I got rid of my lodger (long story!) I'm struggling to pay more than my required repayments each month but would love to at least get my last 56% of this debt paid off by Christmas.

Just signed up to be a blood donor
We've been batch cooking tonight. Husband made BBQ sauce and ive made tomato sauce for our HM pizzas. We've made the dough for the pizzas too which is good. The kids had the rest of the bread with their dinner and we tried a goodfood recipe with potatoes, green beans and chicken thighs in a creme fraiche/mustard sauce it was ok but pleased we've not had takeaway
Tomorrow we are off to the local farmers market to buy some local grown veg, then im off to help a lady practice carrying her little boy in a sling (i hold sling meets for this purpose but she cannot make it down). Then it will be a hopefully cheap weekend, im taking my son swimming on sunday (less than £3). If its free listing weeekend then ill aim to list atleast 10 things. What has everyone else planned?

Hi all, great percenting :-) Good news on the new job Braddy, and LMUD fab about the wedding bookings. Welcome back from your holiday Crafting Mad- good that the MSE ways were firmly with you for holidaying!!
So impressed that you spent Friday evening batch cooking Happytails, I definitely need to do some of that as takeawas starting to creep back in. Saying that the yummy curry we had last night was bought by our friend's parents who are visiting her for the weekend.
I'll do a proper update later, but happy to report I had good sales from eBay recently- posted 16 items this week. Paid a percent towards debts byr have used the rest to purchase a job lot item that I hope to make a small profit on if I list it as separate components, we shall see. I have also got a buyer for my wedding dress, which is being collected today, so will be able to pay 1.5% after that :-)
Free listings weekend this weekend so will be busy later- need to recheck postage for relists as I undercharged on 3 items which took £10 of my income :-( Have about 7 new things to sell too. I also need to repost an item that was returned due to me missing off house number :-( Must be more careful!!!
Right back to sleep!Total money owed: [STRIKE]31/07/11- £17,877[/STRIKE], LBM - 14/10/12 :j, 01/06/13 - £0 DEBT FREE!!!!
