  • Paid off another chunk of my overdraft - now just shy of 75% paid off and £700 left to pay!
I love how my bank account is in the black at the start of the month now - it's such a great motivator. I aim to have this cleared by Christmas (my own xmas present to myself?!), and then will focus on my credit card (0% balance transfer).

Little Miss, you DEFINITELY have to write about this! It is such a simple system, but it works so well for so many of us!

  • Really set on clearing the overdraft now. Counted up my 'coppers' at the weekend (with other coins thrown in) and was astounded to find there was £87 in there! Added to what I've already banked now at 37% of this one cleared :D :T

Getting a bit confused about where I am on the others after credit card shuffles so worked it out overall and am 32% overall, which is a huge motivator as didn't think I was getting anywhere :D
  • Hi all, am at 44% now which is good but it does mean that I am now 1 month behind in my plan for this year (which was to save 2% a month). It's not so bad as I'm pretty sure I know where Nov & Dec's payments are coming from so just need to come up with Sept & Oct's payments (£320 all together) over the next few weeks. Then I'll have over 50% of our Disney fund saved by the end of the year :D

  • Another £25 paid off the loan today and also saved £3000 to pay off next month when it matures which will bring me close to 30% I think.

I can declare a further £30 as I cancelled my hairdressers appointment for my 8 week cut and colour.I only had my hair restyled and coloured in Aug so it can definitely wait a good few more weeks.

So MEMBER 17 is now at 39% :)

100% of target £1200 now clear :j:beer::T:beer: No more overdraft, hurrah!

Am getting myself in a right muddle about what other %s I've cleared tho cos I did a crdit card shuffle earlier in the year, so have worked out overall (37.5% clear:j) and from that I'm setting myself another chunk as current target. Not convinced I can clear this one as quickly, but will keep trying :D

    So, debt of £1200, 1% = £12
  • Well done!
My overdraft is now down to £500 - 82% paid off.
Into the home straight with it now. Feels so good!

Hi, could I join please? My debt started at £12300 on September 1st, so my 1% is £123.

Since then I have paid £396.06, which means I have paid 3.5% off. I've printed out my 100 square and coloured in the first 3 boxes :) Less than £40 to go until I can colour my next one in :)
