  • Just to update, I have paid another 1% off my total.

This was from the £5 paypal reward from My Survey that finally hit my bank, plus the extra from money I accumulated last week.

So I am now at 2%

    Yay :)

Hope everyone else is going strong!

Car balloon payment 100% paid! :T

Owe mum £500 (paid by new year)

Owe brother £120 (paid by new year)

Our business owes the taxman £5500 also.

    We are getting there slowly.

My business is doing well but still unlikely to make a profit in my first year. I'm really enjoying doing it though.

Hope everyone is well, sorry it's been so long!

Hi do you mind if I join you? Really need to get stuck in to some challenges to clear this debt and have so far started the make £10 per day challenge.

I have 2 debts but I will be clearing them at different rates as I want rid on the smaller one if possible within the next 6 months. They are as follows:
cc#1 started at £5300 so 1% is £53 and so far Ive paid 7%
cc#2 is £3197 so 1% is £32 and Im at 0% on that one so far. This is the one I want to clear quickly if possible.

Thanks and good luck to everyone

Another 1% paid off, which makes 4%. Aiming to build the emergency fund up to £1000 (or as close as possible) by the end of this year and will then be able to throw much more at the debt and clear them asap!!

  • I need to improve my emergency fund. Currently chucking a bit of cash at it, but I definitely need one as there have been a few unexpected surprises this year (i.e had to replace electric shower).
In fact I need to revamp my budget - it's been somewhat ignored of late. Oops. Once I've cleared the overdraft I need to clear my CC. Thankfully not too horrific, but needs sorting out! Tonights task I think, along with some Eb*ying - decluttering and money making all tied up in one!
