I love this and would like to join in this great idea please?
As you can see from my signature we have one or two debts so I don't know if we should focus on a few or all? Or maybe just the credit cards and leave the loans be for the moment? I haven't read all this thread so any suggestions welcomed
This is a case of baby steps as we are going at this mountain of debt on our own at this stage to see if we can with cut backs, savings and making some money along the way

Cancelled a reoccurring paypal payment I had forgotton about for a craft download site. This has saved me £38.70 for the rest of the year so I'm adding this to my total.
We are also off to the cinema today and by quickly checking I have found a cinema close to our usual but it is £8.50 cheaper so this is also being added to my total.
So I can now declare

Sorry I haven't been on a lot - I had no internet for a few weeks and my life has been a little crazy.
I need to start my 1% again as I used some of my savings before I put anything in so my total has changed.
My goal is now £439.00
so my 1% is £4.39
I haven't put any back in yet but I have got £4.03p in my savings jar that will go into my savings account.NSD 3/25 | SA: £38.00 | EF: 38.130 -

Hi,
Love the idea of this challenge. Is it too late to join?
I'm trying to save £900 and want to get as close as I can or exceed this by the end of the year.
So for the purpose of being added to the list, it's dippykitty, £900 target and my 1% is £9.ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0 -
At the weekend I earned £50 for helping my nan with catering at a wedding, so once that's been put into my bank, I'll include how much precentage I've actually paid back into my account.
I'm also doing some baby sitting for a close family member and she said she'll pay me at the end of the month but I'm not too fussed if I don't get paid because she's always looked after me and my sister when we were younger. So if i do get paid, I'll also count that.
Don't add it up or anything yet but I just posted to keep track of what I've earned etc.
Good luck to everyone else!NSD 3/25 | SA: £38.00 | EF: 38.130 -

Ok I need to revise this as I have been juggling the finances about and put 3 credit cards onto one due to a 0% deal and only 1.5% balance transfer fee. Therefore the above has changed to:-
Halifax CC - £7.95
MBNA OH - £29.50
Works out ever so slightly more per month by amalgamating the cards together BUT the interest is 0% so in the long run is a saving! Plus I don't have to think about all these different cards and payments at different times!!
Envelopes at the ready for the start of the new pay month :T
