I'd love to join too please. 1% seems like a sensible challenge, and I'd love to get this overdraft paid off by Xmas.

Thanks0 -
Worked out what I had overpaid on our overdraft wrong so last month we had actually reduced it by £248.38. Well pleased as if we carry on overpaying the overdraft and the credit cards at the rate we are paying our debts will be paid off hopefully within three years :jDid owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

I've just transferred £4.39(1%) from my normal account into my savings account by doing it online. I'll do this whenever I can afford to.NSD 3/25 | SA: £38.00 | EF: 38.130

Have transferred an extra £5 from main account into overdraft account (on top of monthly overdraft fees obviously).
Next action - send off books to WeBuyBooks, not masses, but will give me another 1%0 -
I've just paid off another £1000 off my long term loan, still a long way to go.
Good though to pay off a massive chunk like that!
Next month an even bigger chunk will be repaid too which will make me smile all the more as the total owed comes down even more.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hello everyone!
Congrats to GreenSaints! Fantastic work, I'm so pleased for you!
The light at the end of the debt free tunnel is in sight for me too! Just got a few more months to get through and I'll be there.
It's so great to see the 1% Challenge still having new members.
Have a great weekend all

Well...here comes the crazy long update that this thread truly deserves!
*Deep Breath* - there have been SO many of you wonderful people joining in on this challenge, keeping it going and making others feel so welcome.
We have a further 105 members now on the members list :O All other totals have been updated as well.
Most of the folks below are long standing members that when they first started just jumped straight into the challenge and have made fantastic progress.
I have fully caught up with the thread and it is amazing to see people keep chipping away at it and getting where they want to be.
A HUGE congrats to all those that have reached their 100% marks and have continued onto the next debt or even onto saving! You have all earned your star(s) on the front page.
I'm so pleased to see this thread which I started several years ago continuing to help spur new people on every day.
Thank you to everyone that has asked for a member number, asked to join or contributed to the thread. You have all been super patient while I have been working on completing my own 1% challenge. You may have asked to join a long while ago but I have made sure that you have been added in to the list in the order that you asked to join. I appreciate you super bunch of percenters very much!

I will probably be doing one further update (New Years) in 2014 and then start a fresh new 1% thread in 2015 if people wish to continue.
I'm hoping to become debt free myself in the next few months, I will still be around here - just as a saverWhen I get there I'm planning on writing the 1% method into a short (free) book, hopefully to help more people on their journey. I'd love to hear your thoughts and if you think people would find that useful.
Have a super Monday & keep percenting!

I would find it useful!
At the moment I'm doing it as and when I can afford.
I'm start anew in September since August was rocky with my savings and earnings.
I'm doing pretty well and I'm a little addicted to see the savings account grow. I so try to put at least £1 In everyday though this month is difficult since I got paid less.NSD 3/25 | SA: £38.00 | EF: 38.130
