I was given a new router with the 12 months free.
A good facility on the new router is the ability to plug in a usb memory card which can then be accessed by any computers attached to your router. Useful for moving files between computers.
I wonder if SKY will change these routers for one of their own or just update the firmware?

I have issues a lot with my n router, think the other is also faster at rebooting
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • Another success for free 12 months broadband and £200 mobile credit.
Same legacy deal and sky will honour the deal until completion, although she said its unlikely to all done and dusted within 18 months.
    Corking deal.

So did you still have to ask for your MAC first to get offered anything?

I'd call them and tell them you're leaving. When I left O2 a few years back they tried to charge me £150 after I'd used a MAC to transfer elsewhere. When I called to query it they said I needed to call and cancel after I'd used the MAC. When I stated the advisor hadn't informed me of that they got all bolshy and said they'd check the call recording. After 10 mins they came back all apologetic and wiped the £150.

I have phoned twice now to confirm the free 12 months but still nothing shows on my O2 account to reflect the change. It's been a good few weeks now. Has anyone else experienced this?

My update was instant, but there is nothing to say the next 12 months are free.
