I get a discounted rate - but would have to pay the full amount if I cancel on the remaining months.
£17.50 per month until November - I pay £6.25 atm - half price and mobile discount.

So if you agree to stay another year, you will pay nothing from now till March 1st 2014?

What are they asking for you to leave now?

I asked about leaving as I don't want to pay Sky. They offered me the free year to stay but it just depends whether Sky will honor the free period really?
Either way, I don't think I can pay the leaving fee.

I would think they would have to honour it.

How much is the leaving fee?

Why not ask them rather than assuming - then you can decide?

Well it's 8 months if they include November so definitely around this figure.

well why not sit tight until people know what's happening. Every month is one cheaper for your cancellation and if they change terms you will get a free way out.

If they for eg say you have to have a sky line yp get bb -all those customers without it can't be forced to get one so will either be asked / forced to leave.

They calculate the etc by removing the VAT from your monthly charge then multiplying that figure by the time left to run.

But aren't you cutting your noses off even contemplating paying to get out when they will effectively pay you to stay with them another year?

If Sky breach the contract then cross that bridge if it ever turns up!
