Morning friends, hope you are all well. Things still awful here. DH very down and I am doing a mighty fine zombie impersonation:rotfl: Have taken all your lovely advice on board and I am going to have a chat with my GP(I am dead lucky as I have 2 wonderful lady dr's) It will be next week though a sone is on holiday and the other is poorly. I will wait as I would find it difficult to talk to some one that I hadn't met before and AM able to talk to my real dr's. HUGS to everyone thank you for being so kind. Scuzz loats of love to you. catowen despite not sleeping you sound more upbeat which is wonderful. Love to all the non sleepers. Anyway the real reason I came on here today is to send very best wishes to all of your offspring "lucky" enough to be taking SATS this week and to all you worried parents/grandparents/god parents etc etc. PLEASE dont worry too much. My thoughts are with you. I feel so sorry for the candidates as the pressure can be dreadful. HUGE HUGS to you all. Anyway have a nice stress free day everyone. Again, thank you for everything. A XXX

    Morning Guys!

Havent been too good and spent yesterday in and out of bed:rolleyes: so didnt post on the daily yesterday as I didnt have much energy and not much to say. Have been up the hospital this morning and some results from last week have come back bad. Feeling totally fed up with myself:o The base of my spine is totally knackered and theres nothing that can be done...the Vitamin D and calcium injections arent doing anything and they will now need to be long term. They are stumped on how to progress as my calcium levels (and other results) are so low but im doing what I can eating/drinking wise, having jabs and eating the calci-chew which are gross! Because of other meds Im on (Methotrexate (Automimmune)and Prednisilone(Steroids)-which I need for my Lupus) it is causing other health issues. Im fed up with being a guinea pig!!!

Sorry....going on about my health again. Today is a bad day and Im feeling sorry for myself:D

Anyway, washload is finished and needs to be put on the airer upstairs, OH helped me sort out the fridge as we stopped at Sainsburys and got the weekly essentials:rolleyes: ..so that has had a good clean out. Floor has been spot checked for marks, DW emptied and house is generally clean and tidy...well apart from DD;s room, but thats her job!

OH has portioned the bulk of the fruit he got reduced to make 10 smoothies for the freezer. Also going to have a bash at Soda bread this week and coleslaw as we bought some white wine vinegar...apparently thats the best thing to use:confused:

Well OH has just bought in a brew and a biccie:D ...so Id better go.

Hugs to all and sorry for going on.

<<PenPin>> You are amazing, I don't know how you remain so cheerful with everything you are going through.

Cazzie Thank you for that information. I'll get my brother to arrange a GP appointment, and I've told him I'm happy to go with him. He's very shy, and if the GP doesn't want to refer him he'd just accept it. The GP hasn't been very helpful in the past. It's always easier to stand up for someone else than it is to stand up for yourself, I find.

    <<annie>>

Finished the downstairs bathroom, have watered all the plants (I have a lot so it takes AGES to get them all done properly), have completed four of the items on my list.

Just finishing coffee (my second double espresso, I'm not going to be able to stop at this rate!), and then I'll get on again.

Going to be an uncertain day.

Didn't sleep till 5am, it's getting so light so early now - I swear it was getting light at 4am:eek:

OH at hospital with his sleep study. He said he nearly went mad with boredom doing a test - try being a copy typist on electric typewriters for 8 hours a day for two years! That is mad inducing boredom! Men, they moan at us for being in pain or under the weather but what we have to go thro', they wouldn't survive an hour being a woman:mad:

Still they have their uses lol:D

They got the car to the garage, so waiting on a quote for the repairs.

We have arranged a viewing for a house later, will see if we can go today.

Making an offer on another house but don't expect them to accept it.

Dreading the post, don't want another speeding ticket to plop on the floor:(

    Will know more later...:o

    Food today

Rice Crispies with milk, Pineapple juice with a dash of grapefruit juice, Lady Grey Tea.

I shall do something with spuds and yellow peppers later but our lifestyle is grab what you can. My weight and metabolism is all over the place. I shall be so glad to find SOMEWHERE to live - there is only 31 days to go!!

I made a mince chilli for tonight but was meant for when our son ate with us - I shall keep in fridge till Thursday, then freeze if not eaten, I presume this is safe:o
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:

Like the OP said, don't feel you are burdening us - a problem shared etc...

Sometimes I think it clarifies things to write them.

Pen-Pin - hope that you are feeling better soon. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Think we have just solved the 'how to dry the clothes indoors' problem :D DH has just put up a rail in the airing cupboard and hung all the spare coathangers from around the house on it. My own little walk-in (almost!) dryer :D

Now, what to do with all the towels and sheets that used to be stored in it???

Samsam - just wanted to say we are also told to ring thesurgery at 8.30am, but the doors open at 8am and now word has got around there's always a queue that starts around 7.50am! No wonder appointments are gone when people ring at 8.30am! Maybe your surgery does something similar if you can get there in person?
I was first in queue today - and was given an appt for 8am! I hadn't even put a ticket on my car (have to park in nearby pay-and display!)
Thought I'd be told I could return to work at least by end of week...but have to return in two weeks time as my back is clearly still not right. GRRH!
Hugs to all who feel they'd like one.

Just wanted to say (((hugs))) to anniestar and pen-pin. Sorry you are both having such a hard time of it. Hope things improve for you both soon.

Had a busy morning. House is looking much tidier - including DD and DS's rooms. I told myself I would NOT do them but I couldn't bear the mess so I have at least put all their clothes away, made the beds and emptied the bins. The rest they can do for themselves - or there will be no pocket money. I find bribery works quite well that way. ;)

Just went out to check on the plants - and there are hundreds of little seedlings sprouting from everywhere! Last week there were loads and loads of tick-tocks (not sure what everyone else would know them as) and most of them seem to have taken root in my planters, grobags, etc. Guess what job I will have to do on the first dry day?

Off to look for something to have for lunch then I really must go and post that book. x
