Lara44 - thinking of you today, must be a really difficult time. Are you having a reassurance scan at some point? x

You're right, I did have bleeding (more of a gush in the shower that felt like I had wet myself) at 5+6, very late at night. It only was that one little gush though, and two days after when we could get in to see the gp, she did an exam and said that everything looked like it had sorted itself out, but that I could still request an early scan at the booking appointment. I'm definitely going to be requesting one, since my booking appointment is next Monday now.

Dr was really good, have got an appointment for an early scan first thing tomorrow morning so at least I wont have to wait long.

Any positive stories of ladies who have had some bleeding and gone on to have successful healthy pregnancies?!

My mother had severe bleeding when pregnant with me - and I am here.

I had bleeding last week, and my scan on Friday showed the baby was absolutely fine. The doctor said lots of women do have bleeding.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
  • Have been non stop today at work and only just had the chance to come back on here!!

I am definitely feeling a bit lucky cllola - we've already had two scans now, one at 7+3 and one now at 10+1 that's more than most others get so far so it's really good!

They've also listed me as high risk due to my Endometriosis so I may get some extra scans because of that, although I am hoping that in time I go back down to low risk as I don't know if I'm able to use this hospital's birthing suite if I'm high risk.

Just waiting for next Friday to come quickly now!

Lara44 sorry to hear you're having a bad time I hope everything is ok with this pregnancy. Nausea is definitely a good sign though!!!

    moonbabe58 hope you're ok :(

Thanks Ladies. I had a scan at 6 weeks because the Dr thought the pregnancy might be ectopic even though I didn't have any symptoms (?), so I don't think I'll get another one. But it's all okay I'm happy to wait for the 12 week scan. Just want to get past this 7 week milestone and onto 8 weeks. Shame time is moving so slowly right now :o

I had pain and bleeding at 9 weeks with DS1. Had a scan at 9+2 which showed all was fine. DS1 is a healthy (too) energetic 2.5 year old now.

Hope everthing turns out well for you too x
