    good luck mysecretalias :)
  • Robots in disguise I hope your bleeding turns out to be nothing to worry about. I had bleeding accompanied by severe pain at 9 weeks with DS1 and it turned out to be nothing to worried about. I was given an early scan at 9+2 and all was well. I was told that some women can bleed throughout pregnancy with no ill effects to the baby. I continued to bleed for a couple of weeks. When I was worried it was a weekend so I went to A&E. They did some tests then referred me to the EPU to arrange a scan so if it gets to the point where you are worried please do seek medical attention.

Hope you managed to get some sleep mysecretalias. Exciting day for you today, good luck!

  • Best wishes for your scan mysecretalias

Mrs tm & neverdespair I think I need to look up maternity money etc, I havnt a clue. But it's reassuring that husband could claim child benefit.

As for me - thankyou all so much for the reassurance - both that's it's probably fine And that I Can call the drs. I have to go to work today but will try to hide at my desk... There's a lot of lifting & shifting of items going on there but I managed to avoid it yesterday - even though I usually relish getting involved. I do not want to tell my boss yet. I don't trust her and I havnt been able to speak to my parents yet. Husband said I should tell HR but I'm not sure it'll do any good this late to leaving.

  • Have had some slight pink tinged discharge and last night some dark red/brown 'blobs' so have booked a Drs appointment for this morning. Hoping they will refer me for an early scan and fingers crossed that everything is ok. Have been so worried :(

  • Thanks all. Sat in waiting room right now! Came with a full bladder and at reception they said oh no go to the toilet if you need to, you don't need a full bladder for the scan....wondering now if they are right and I can go to the loo quickly? Really desperate!! Lol

  • Thank you, really hoping it is just some break through bleeding. Hoping the Dr agrees to book an early scan as don't think I could cope with the worrying if not!
