  • Okay nerves are definitely kicking in now. Scan is in 2 days and I can't help feeling very nervous and worried.

Have to stop myself typing in google for reassurance only to find a bad post/story which sends me straight back to worrying.

Think I'm going to have to find something to keep my mind off it for a couple of days :o

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow Katy x
  • Spencer is 10 and is in his last year at junior school

Lycialeah is 8 and is in year 4 at junior

Jessica is 3 and has just started nursery at school

so all 3 will be at school once baby arrives as Jessica will be in nursery full time for her last term to prepare her for reception.

As we have 2 girls I am hoping that this one is a boy as it will make life easier so it's bound to be a girl lol.

Our life is rather odd as I have my own business and my hubby is disabled and as such hubby comes to work with me everyday and so will baby (just as Jessica did) so it will require some adjustments.

Still not sure how on earth we got pregnant as we didn't have intercourse but hey ho.

  • Definitely noticed I don't like things pressing on my tummy these last few days (approx 8+2)... I think I'll be sticking to leggings instead of trousers as much as possible from now on!

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday xx
  • hope everyone had a good weekend x
Stayed away yesterday as was getting nervy, was getting all kinds of strange twinges....Not really sure what they were. On top of that Ive got a cold / sore throat :( and don't want to take anything..so feeling sorry for myself!
& have been feeling queasy this am ! (A first for me at aprox 6 weeks)- just going to try and eat a piece of toast as my stomach is definitely rumbling.
  • 7+1 today!

Haven't really been on over the weekend because I have just been so tired! Sickness seems to be intermittent now so keeping my fingers crossed that it is going to disappear.

This weekend I picked up a couple of pairs of leggings from asda. I too find that jeans press too hard on my tummy. So leggings all the way now. Along with loose tops to hide the tummy! I don't know how women back in time used to do this with corsets on! Couldn't think of anything worse!

Today it's a house cleaning day. Had a cold all weekend and combined with pregnancy symptoms so the house has gone into a state of chaos.

    Happy Monday everyone xxx

Hello everyone, hope you had good weekends.

New symptoms here appear to be ridiculous tiredness in the day (TWO naps on Saturday!) followed by insomnia and crazy dreams at night! Quite sore b00bs and more cramping, plus, I know I'm not the fittest person in the world, but am getting out of breath walking up my usual two flights of stairs at work!!!

katy29 - good luck for the scan today x

    6 + 3

  • Seen the gp on friday so we're all booked on now! The gp took my blood pressure and my son asked the gp if he was going to pump the baby up pmsl!:rotfl:

We went to blackpool over the weekend to see the illumination s and had a great time but yesterday afternoon I suddenly developed the runs so the 150mile drive home was awful! Having the day off work today and its also hubbys birthday so im going to use the day to do a thorough clean of the house and make him a birthday cake.

Welcome to the new faces xxx
