Hello Goppers! Congratulations! A few of us here after recent miscarriage so we can hug each other through this first 12 weeks :grouphug:
I was feeling terrible last night so as it is my day off I slept it. OH got DS off to school and I got up at 10
Still feeling sick, going to get my hair cut today - not having it dyed as its so expensive so try to do that every other time.
Hello to the other newbies! xx

Becsxxx Which one out of QMC and City doesn't have private rooms and bathrooms? Think i'll definitely be taking a trip to both of them to have a wander round.0
-
When I came out of the HDU and onto a normal maternity ward at the QMC I had my own room and bathroom. It wasn't because I'd had a traumatic birth, my friend who had a normal delivery a few months earlier also had her own room.0
-
Or do you mean private as in non-nhs, private care?0

I've been reading reviews and several people said they had to share a bathroom at city (some of the reviews were quite unpleansant) and there are also more birth pools at QMC (apparently there is only one at City and so if someone else is using it, that's it:eek:). That's not to say there's not negative reviews for QMC either.
Still researching though - have been on netmums so far and someone else has also suggested to me the NCT website..0 -
ps: there seem to be a LOT of Notts ladies on here at the moment! - is it something they put in the water??!???!.0
-
ha ha, there are a few of us aren't there! We'll probably all meet at the antenatal classes0
-
*whispers* I'm in Notts too... I had my daughter at City, and we spent the night in the patient hotel so had private room and bathroom....0
