Oh dear :( You've had a really rough time of it Claire. How many weeks are you now? How long does nausea normally last during early pregnancy?

    I'm 11 + 2.

My mum had it til 14 weeks and my Nan til 20.

My friend had similar sickness and also had it til 14, nausea gone at 16.

I thought you were further along than me (I'm 12+something now). I'm sorry you're likely to have another couple of weeks of it. But at least it's the downwards slope now...

Have mostly been fine - still very tired quickly/easily but I'm assured that will pass soon...I definitely hope it does. I can't usually nap and I slept for a couple of hours after lunch on Saturday!

Also, I had the most horrendous headache yesterday! It was dreadful :( Today I mostly have the munchies for things. I really wanted porridge after I got to work but didn't have it as I'd already had a big bowl of cereal. I had a couple (ok 4) ginger nuts with a cuppa and now I'm on cuppa soup but I can't shake this want for porridge and bread :s

It's odd but apparently during labour all my mum wanted was a ham sandwich and they wouldn't let her have one and after I was born I kept smacking my lips so someone asked what mum had wanted in labour and not gotten and then told her to touch a piece of ham on my lips and I stopped! haha - strange hey? Hopefully I won't end up the same with some of the stuff I keep wanting!

Nausea starting to subside but have had a headache and sinus pain all day, do any of you know if we can use the vicks nasal spray ?

It says' use with caution if pregnant/breastfeeding'

T/L in work today asked if it's still to be kept hush, told her until next week yes, reason she asks is that they need to do a new 'pregnant women' risk assessment but that would let the cat out the bag to the rest of the team so she said she will arrange it for after my scan.

I've not been wanting to eat dinners the past few days, just been having a toastie or a roll on meat, not sure what's wrong.

    Roll on a week tomorrow!!

    con1888 I'm sorry I don't know. If in doubt I'd ask a pharmacist.

I've been the same, all I've wanted is plain carbs. We joke that I've been eating beige only foods for the last 6 weeks!! I think I had jacket potatoes for dinner every night for about a week.

My appetite has picked up now, and only the odd twinge of nausea.

    lushlifesaver what a strange story!

Still hanging around until my nuchal scan on thursday before I jump up to the next thread.

11+6 (but dubious.... think I am actually 12+3)

    How is everyone today?
