    Wonderful news Squ1rel :)
    Any news from Pink Panther?

    Yes, yes, yes:)

Was really worried at first as the baby was perfectly still so I first thought the worst, untill the sonographer told me she could see a heartbeat and it was just sleeping- I so hope it sleeps this well when it's born. Saw the heart pumping away, baby was facing the wrong way for the nuchal measurement so the lady kept trying to wake it up so it moved-it's amazing how much it wriggles about when you cough:) She measured me at 12+5. I know 100% that the most I can be is 12, so must be big for it's age... I told her I was sure about 12 weeks max because I never ovulate before day 14 and you can't get pregnant before you ovulate, to which she replied 'well, technically you can'?!?! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, a huge relief that all's well, will hold off telling work till I get the results from the Down's testing.
  • Great news pink panther, sounds exactly like my scan.

I told everyone in work today, they're all very excited!! In fact I think I've told almost everyone now!!! Was fit to burst!
  • ...almost 6.5cm long and pics looked (touch wood) perfectly formed- that sounds really big to me:) but at same time can't imagine a human so small:)

    Evening ladies!

Scan was fab! Little bean was sleeping though and all curled up! So measured small at 10+6. So not able to do nuchal, will be going back in 2 weeks time.
Got a pic though, so excited to show that off at work tomorrow.

    Congrats pink_panther its amazing isn't it! :T
 Mini me due March 2014

Congratulations on all the recent scans, I'm excited reading about everyone elses god knows how I'll be when its my turn!

I'm 8+4 and have no symptoms other than massive kajungas and tiredness. Booking in appointment on Friday - this is baby number 1 so it's all so new and I have no idea what to expect.

Havent told a soul yet, it's our little secret for now as we want to get the scan first - hopefully it'll feel more real after that.
  • Debs0778 this is our first too - the booking in appointment was quite long but you learn a lot.

I've gone from having relaxed a fair bit to over thinking every little twinge over night :( Think it's because I was up three times in the night to nip to the loo and had a couple of twinges last night before bed up under my ribs. Then this morning has not been my morning! Had to take my time getting all my morning bits done because I'm feeling off - I can't quite describe it though; not quite nausea...it's a strange feeling like I'm hungry but with the feeling of a lump in my chest/throat and slightly anxious and this feeling I get when I can feel a headache coming on. That probably makes absolutely no sense to anyone haha.

Feel like I need a hot sweet cup of tea (don't usually take sugar apart from when I used to be about to come on because I get this feeling and the anxiety leaves me almost panicy!) and a sofa day. No rest for the wicked though I suppose.

There was me thinking this would be a relatively easy pregnancy and it's already knocking seven bells out of me just with the sheer tiredness. Past about 3.30pm I'm truly useless!

Must stop moaning/stressing though as what it all boils down to is that I'm currently fostering a miracle inside :) Seen lots more darling baby bits I would rather like and a few things that would go in the 'we like them AND it would make our life easier as they encourage bf's independence with baby' pile. It's nice that me, my mum and bf's mum are all very handy in making things and ideas and bf, my dad and bf's dad are all 'manly minded' and good at designing little bits and then making them!

    Sorry for babbling away everyone!

You mention pain when sneezing, before I knew I was pregnant, I had missed period but they weren't THAT regular so was unsure and hadn't done test, I sneezed and got a pain, googled it and all the answers were saying PREGNANT ...

I have had the sneezing pain too...if I know a sneeze is coming I quickly hold my stomach to try and avoid straining myself, ha!

I did my first response when it finally arrived last week and the test line was so much darker than the control line and I also had a pretty dark IC too. I've not touched another test since ;)

Finished work today for 2 whole weeks and whilst I don't want to wish my holiday away before I've even got there - I'm really looking forward to my first midwife appointment when I get back...I'll be 8 weeks by then :)

Congrats to the ladies who've had some scans. :D

For the ladies worried about no sickness, don't let it worry you. Like Icey, I wasn't sick once in my first pregnancy and had a straight forward pregnancy and a perfect little boy. Have many friends who have had no sickness too....... Nothing to be worried over.

Hope everyone is keeping well :)
