Baby is measuring 9 weeks which is just 1 day off my dates, & we got to hear the heart beat! I think I'm in shock! Feels so surreal after last time. Me & DH were gripping each others hands then I started crying. Managed to keep my breakfast down whilst we were there. We've got a DVD, pictures & she let us video the screen to get a recording of the heart beat x I can't believe I'm posting this. I'll now be on tenter hooks until the 12 week scan but for now just trying to believe its ok for once!

I had a scan when I was 9+1 and they measured me 9+5. I didn't hear the hearbeat and there was no DVD. Even the picture they gave me was rubbish as I can't see the baby at all. However all that mattered was we saw a baby in the right place with a hearbeat fluttering. It makes it so much easier to be excited.

My 12 week scan is on Tuesday morning! :eek:

Sounds like bad service kynthia! We paid £75 for ours so I was hoping for a good photo etc but didn't know we were getting a DVD too. Wow not long to wait til your scan then!

Hi all

First post in this forum.......

I think I'm pregnant! Period not due for a few days yet but I have quite a few symptoms and just don't feel 'myself' so to speak. Something is definitely up or else my body is fooling me and I am due an early period!

I don't want to discuss with anyone (partner knows) as of course it is so early and a lot can happen in the first 3 months.

But, I wanted to be able to tell someone as I am here at home on my own this weekend and it's driving me potty!

So...you guys have become my sounding board!

I'm trying not to overthink it all - I am excited, scared but trying not to get too excited in case I'm wrong.

Have you taken a test yet? Why not pop out and get one? I got a positive test 2-3 days before my period was due so you might get an answer!

Please try not to get your hopes up til you've tested. I was trying for 2 years before my positive and I often had lots of symptoms that came to nothing. I hope you get the answer you want though! Fingers crossed!

I feel 'silly' testing this early because as you said the symptoms could come to nothing. I'm trying to hold off a week or so. My cycle has been a bit erratic - can be 28 days or can be longer even up to 35 so it is tricky. I have been pregnant before (pregnancy didn't reach term) and a lot of the feelings are the same. I'm supposed to be doing my accounts today so that should help keep my mind off things!!!!!!
