Oh my goodness I just watched The Midwives programme on Catch up, was on bbc2 last night. Bawled my eyes out through most of it.

Becca just noticed your scan is tomorrow!

I seem to have got to the top of the list!
Been having meltdowns this week- had no more bleeding but still concerned about the scan.
The exhaustion which I thought had passed is back with a vengence though.
Good luck to everyone else having scans this week.

Watched it too, but last night...was a bit worried that literally every birth filmed had some sort of complication to it:eek:. .. very very stressful!

Always assumed BFP means Big Fat Positive, referring to the pregnancy test. How are you feeling after finding out you're pregnant? any idea how far along you are?

hi the pink panther - I was actually disappointed at the scan as it wasn't as clear and the photos are rubbish compared to the private one....but I suppose money pays! My NHS scan picture is on a flimsy bit of paper - even my mum was abit miffed at the quality - esp when its £2 a photo. My private one was £2.50 each and it was placed in a card for safe keeping.
Also my bladder was too full so had to have a wee but not empty it (how on earth do you not 'empty' your bladder when weeing!!) had to stop half was through the wee which was hard! Went back in to be scanned again, picture not really all that clear but she could get her measurements. The baby wouldn't move either so was most likely sleeping and I had to toss and turn on the bed! Overall though, we are very happy. :D:D:D

Lovely to hear some positive scan stories these past couple of days.

Had my booking appointment today and got scan date of 23/09. Slightly disappointed as midwife I was allocated last time and was happy to get again is off on maternity leave herself. Ah well.
