Oh Lily, I'm so so sorry :-( 15dpo is very early days though, 63 isnt too unusual for that time? Thinking of you x

Glad to hear there's lots of lovely scans

That's what I thought, and when I calculate in my late ovulation it doesn't seem totally horrendous. I am *actually* only 4+0 today. There's no doubting they are very low but others seem to have had similar. My pregnancy tests have been getting progressively darker so the levels are rising just, apparently, not fast enough.
But my consultant knows better than I do and she wasn't very optimistic. If I'm honest I appreciate her frankness. False hope is worse than no hope.

Thanks for all the kind words though everyone. I do appreciate them.

I agree that false hope is worse than none lily.

    Has the bleeding been heavy?

Scan done. Seen a heartbeat - then I cried!

Having another scan in 2 weeks. Off to tell my parents. More tears expected.

God, I howled when I saw my baby's heartbeat at the 7 week scan. I sobbed like a demented person when I first saw the little body at the 12 week scan. I burst into tears when I heard the heartbeat with the doppler. In fact, I started crying the minute I saw those two lines and, tbh, I've not stopped since (Freddie's eight months old now :o) :D

Congratulations TTC. It truly is a blessing. :)

ETA. When I told my mum she just screamed. Top of her voice scream. Like a mad woman. :D

If anyone thought they heard earth tremors at about 7.30pm, rest assured it wasn't.

It was my Dad, dancing, jumping, whooping & then crying (well actually I think the crying was constant). My Mum cried & then kept saying reallly?

I gave her the scan pic on which the FS had put 'baby' on. She asked who's scan it was - then saw my name on the top!

So lovely - but I am also mindful that I am only 6 weeks in. I had to keep reminding them of this (when they got to picking names & how they would decorate the spare room!)

Text my ski friend to tell her & got a lovely response. Just so hard when her IVF has been unsuccessful.

Time to finish packing & then off for a chillout week in the alps.
