Sam I am so so sad for you. I've been in your position & it was probably the worst thing that's happened to my in my life, I know exactly how you feel. I wish I could make things different for you I really do. I found a lot of support on the miscarriage board on here there are some lovely ladies on there. I'm glad you got a photo as I didn't & I was in too much of a mess at the time to think of it so I'm pleased you got one although I know it doesn't help it's the only 'regret' I have if that makes sense.

Sam xx Sorry to hear your news.

I've had my scan letter through - 14th September. I should be 12 weeks & 1 day then.

Blood tests next week and week after that is my booking appointment. It all feels so slow at the mo, it's hard not being able to tell anyone! We will tell bf's family in a couple of weeks, then mine the week after.

Boobs hurt so bad at the moment. Even when walking. My assistant today asked me why I support my boobs when I walk! I said that basically I have a sore bruise on my rib cage and that's why I was walking funny. Not sure if she brought it or not, was best I could come up with LOL !!

    Sorry Sam :(

I got my scan date through but dispite the midwife writting down when I'm away its for the day before I come home so need to ring them and rebook luckly I get back at 11+3 so plenty of time to rebook it and I was surprised them booked it for so early! I was thinking of taking DD with me as it will be school hols but I'm wondering if thats such a great idea just in case.

Sam - I am so sorry to hear your news, how awful :-(

I have no other news, told my sister this evening, I have never ever heard her scream before, she is so excited, I could hear her BF telling her to calm down! Also told my brother who just said - oh cool cant wait to be an ace uncle (how sweet). My MW appointment is next Wednesday, it is finally coming round! Feels like forever since I arrange the appointment. Also I am booking a private scan for Saturday - my DH was surprised that there are places that do them and asked why haven't we done it earlier....aww.

Hope everyone else is feeling ok this evening. xxx

Sorry to be depressing but someone I know took her daughter & it was a missed miscarriage and that was hard to explain so personally I wouldn't however what you could do if she's old enough is have her wait outside until you get the ok and then call her in? I know some hospitals don't allow children but if yours does, that's what I'd do.
