So am I!!! I forgot to ask when to phone for the results though as I was just so pleased to be getting out of there! Will try calling on Friday so see if they're in.

I still like the good bits of Facebook like sharing pictures with friends, it's always good to have several lots of silly pictures after a party and it's nice to nosey at people's holiday pictures to see if they've gone somewhere that appeals to me... but my tolerance for idiots is pretty much at zero now. Like this guy last night, he just thought it was funny to scare his friends into thinking he was going to have a baby... but that's just too close to the bone for me and not funny at all IMO so he had to get cut off! I have cut down my friends on there so much recently, it makes for much nicer reading now!

Some scan-pic !!!!!! for you all. 11+2. S/he was playing with the cord and kept jumping about! Best scan yet - the sonographer was lovely and took time to show me lots of different angles. I can't believe something so tiny can have so much detail. Apparently s/he had their ankles crossed!

I know. Ridiculous isn't it. They are currently (all 8 of them) stuck to the mirror in our bedroom She gave me 4 from today which was nice.

It's nice to see week by week progression though

P.S - It's my 2nd wedding anniversary today!

Lilymay - Great scan pic:) Many Congratulations on you Anniversary. I hope you both have a great celebration.

I think the pregnancy is starting to feel more real to me now that I have had my scan and seen a heartbeat. I have started looking at nursery stuff and collecting vouchers and money off coupons. Still scared to get too excited though until I reach the 12 week mark.

Lily that's a gorgeous picture once again my auntie in law who had 5 mcs had weekly scans in the first trimester with her two healthy pregnancies and she's got an album with the pictures in, including the 12 week and 20 week ones.
it's lovely to see the progression and then look at her son tearing round the house and think 'he used to be that tiny bundle of cells' lol

Does anyone have an inkling about the gender? i thought boy before but when i was in church i said a little prayer for my family felt the need to refer to the baby as a daughter so hmmm. most likely will be daughter as our family is full of women. Part of me really wants a boy because they're unusual but i'll be very pleased with whatever i end up with

Finally managed to get through to the midwives today and got my booking in for Tuesday afternoon they're so annoying though- told you can only ring 08:30-10:00 so i rang then yesterday and left a voicemail. got one back at 16:30 saying 'ring tomorrow between 09:30-10:00' argh! thought they'd prefer me to have a job and be a productive member of society but clearly i should be waiting for their inexplicably small time slot at home so i can ring repeatedly.

I think I'm too early on to get any feelings about the gender TL, I usually get a feeling in my 'waters' about the sex of people's babies though so will be interesting to see how I feel about my own. I'd like it to be a girl since a) I've always wanted a daughter and b) my brother's got an 8 week old boy so it would be nice to have a girl rather than a second boy in the family but a boy would still be lovely (and it OH's first choice!). After it took so long to get here I really don't care as long as I have a happy, healthy baby! We're not finding out what we're having which will make shopping in the run up to the birth a bit boring, but we want the surprise.
