It became such an obsession!
Far more people know than i would like. Few of my close friends, my boss, both mums an my sis in law possibly knows if she noticed the pregnacare in my tesco basket last wk. Also more than a few people in work have strong suspicions. Its not easy in my job to keep it a secret as theres certain things you can no longer do.
Part of me wants everyone to know but the other part wishes i was better at keeping stuff to myself.
Just sneaking in from the next thread to confess to having poas today at 19+4 (only because I found an Internet cheap stick) and I can confirm it worked!
I was fully prepared for it not to!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Ullo, guess I'm over here now. Got three positive internet cheapies yesterday and a positive frer today so I guess I'm up duffed
Not really sunk in yet, refusing to think 'im going to have a baby' until I have a healthy twelve week scan as two years ago I had a mmc and we've been trying ever since
Not much in the way of symptoms but different from last time which is comforting. Got sore boobs, tender lower belly and I feel sick if I eat red meat. If I have to be a veggie for nine months I'll be proper miffed lol
have told my parents as we currently live with them, close friends will be after we have a private scan at about nine weeks- any north west recommendations would be greatfully receivedx

So excited for you TL, CONGRATULATIONS!How far along are you? I know you're having a private scan at 9 weeks, but would it be possible to have one with the NHS at 6/7 weeks due to the previous mmc? It seems to be different depending on which area you're in, but I think most understand that you're likely to have extra anxieties. Really pleased that everything feels positive and different from before, sending all my best wishes for a very sticky little bean and a healthy (and non-veggie) pregnancy xx

Aww thank you for the welcome
Amy when I had the mc I was told I could have a reassurance scan next time but I don't know if that offer is still open considering how long its been! Will definitely be ringing the EPU, nothing ventured and all that
Technically I'm 5 weeks going off last lmp but last two cycles have been 35 daysish so 4 weeks really...this is so going to drag lol xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

After a terrible day, your news has cheered me up no end.
Congratulations TL! So so so so happy for you. I am LOVING that so many of the old-timers on that thread are finally getting BFP's.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Amyfoo - I haven't been to a doc yet because of the bank holiday. Will make an appointment tomorrow.
We have told close relatives and our best friends but at what stage does everyone else tell their general social circle? It all still seems very fragile to me at the moment. I am still poas:o
I think most people tell everyone after the 12 week scan unless you are paranoid (like me), inwhich case you may wait longer. Realistically, it doesn't matter when you tell everyone and it won't make a jott of difference to the outcome but I personally found it horrendous having to tell people I'd had a m/c only a week after telling them I was pregnant.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Great news!
Another user recommended this place to me, it's in St Helens:
http://www.hellobaby4dscan.co.uk/
I've not tried it but I think it's fairly MSE as it has a voucher for money off on the front page.
I'd definitely try to get an NHS scan though.
Here's to a successful next 36 weeks0
