    Hi

Im 7+5 today and feeling a bit pants so laid up in bed researching everything baby related :) Im on antibiotics for a gum abcess and its making me even more nauseous than usual and my "D"P has swanned off to his parents to help out on the farm. Feeling a bit sorry for myself!

I have one DD who is 10, and will be 11 by the time this baby comes! She doesn't know yet - no one does - but I know she will be very excited. Shes so great my friends little kids and tells me very often she misses me being a childminder.

Ive kinda scanned over the thread but theres a lot so might just read back a page or two then keep up from there!

I plan to breastfeed, use cloth nappies and a sling with baby. I looked at Natal Hypnotherapy and while I quite fancy the group, at £275, I dont fancy the price, so Ive just bought the 4 cd set and book for £35 and see how I get on! Also been looking into antenatal yoga/pilates etc but cant start anything for another 6 weeks or so. I like planning..:D

Looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better :)

I also plan to use cloth, breastfeed and will probably co sleep a bit too. I have an older child and she is great with the youngest same sort of gap as you will have. I think she was a bit shocked but once she was here she loved her to much.

Glad booking went well Lily x

I don't have any symptoms yet except sore b00bs and very weird dreams. I am now 5 weeks, not sure if lack of symptoms is a bad sign or not.

Feeling rather sorry for myself today. Been asleep from about 10pm last night until about 1:30pm today. Only woke up a few times in between to have my head in the toilet :( Missed out on most of this nice sunny weather today as well.
Also just got over my cold only to catch another one with an added sore throat! My immune system is totally shot down atm.

OH has been a real sweetheart today though. Put out tons of washing, cooked me a light lunch and done the mountain of washing up. :)

I was the same at 5 weeks Firefly, but the symptoms soon caught up... :o I know it's hard to not worry, but a lack of symptoms isn't necessarily anything to panic over. Did you manage to get an early scan booked? :grouphug:

AFM, I've had promethazine prescribed which is helping a little with the sickness, but is making me sleep for around 16 hours a day!

Ive had sore ladies, tiredness, dizziness and weird dreams but not really any sickness. More food aversions really. Eat something one day, think its lovely, next day can no longer look at it. Weird!

Great idea on the EDD list lily. Hard to keep track of who everyone is and how far along they are.

Got my scan this Thurs. Really really nervous.

    Hi to all the newbies:j

I was the same at 5weeks firefly. Kept poking myself every half hour to make sure they were still sore.

Thanks Ladies, glad I am not the only one with few symptoms at this stage.

Amyfoo - I haven't been to a doc yet because of the bank holiday. Will make an appointment tomorrow.

We have told close relatives and our best friends but at what stage does everyone else tell their general social circle? It all still seems very fragile to me at the moment. I am still poas:o

Firefly i pos every day sometimes twice a day until 6+1. Only reason i stopped was that i read there was a threshold when theyd start getting lighter and i couldnt find an answer as to when that would be so i decided to end on a high!:o

    It became such an obsession!

Far more people know than i would like. Few of my close friends, my boss, both mums an my sis in law possibly knows if she noticed the pregnacare in my tesco basket last wk. Also more than a few people in work have strong suspicions. Its not easy in my job to keep it a secret as theres certain things you can no longer do.

Part of me wants everyone to know but the other part wishes i was better at keeping stuff to myself.
