  • I got a ticket from these chumps earlier in the week. The signed was covered up with a black bag which I took a photo of. When I called them to a sky why I got a ticket the rude lady who answered started trying to shout at me so I thought I'd play vulnerable to counteract her shouting and annoy her a bit and she told me to !!!! off lol. Naturually I have sent them my appeal. Something that's been playing on my mind though, I noticed that on their ticket, when they give their company details, they don't state that they are a Ltd, Llp or Plc company or even give their company reg number? Is that legal? I was under the impression that on any legal document (a notice of fine and possible legal action) that you had to legally provide that information? I might be wrong but it's bugging me so thought I'd ask the question to you as you probably know?

You've posted on a thread that's well over a year old - and P4Parking have been mentioned loads of times in 2014 so never mind this old thread.
Please start your own thread or just read the Newbies thread post #3 about 'How to win at POPLA' for when you get the rejection letter. You WILL LOSE at POPLA if you simply say the machine was covered up and talk about 'what happened' - so don't!

Use the Forum Jump (click GO) which is bottom right of this page now. Then read the Newbies thread, it's why it's near the top and not buried in the archives like this ancient old thread was. Please do that now, read the sticky threads at the top of the current forum that you've missed.

Yes if you stop hi-jacking old threads on here especially ones that tell you not to hi-jack old threads in the one above!

Now go back to the first page of this forum and read the "newbies thread" it will tell you how to beat the scammers, then start you own thread!;)
  • I am totally and utterly gob smacked by some of the posts here. In all the cases I have read on this blog, there seems to be a common theme... total naivity. If it is private land and it is sign posted as such, and there are signs stating it is private parking.... why would you try to get out of a fine for which you are liable. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE PARKED THERE in the first place. If you have no right, don't park. If it is private land, question yourself...... what right do I really have to park my vehicle within this boundary. If you even have to ask yourself that question, the answer.... probably, is none... no right. You should not be there. With regards to comments around the misconceptions that you can get away with paying the fine (for those in Scotland)try go ogling Glasgow man pays £3000 private parking fine. OUCH... THAT'S GONNA HURT YOUR WALLET ! £3000 in enforced fines ..... think about it
Have a thought for the legitimate people who have right to park in these areas. We have to pay for the privaledge of these private spaces. FIND A METER and park where you should and not where other fellow human beings are going to be inconvenienced. Thank you.

Here 'she' is again, that breath of fresh air aged (apparently) 25, a sad young thing who was bullied at school, now using another name, so desperate is 'she' to paint a misleading picture about a case that never actually went to a hearing, so means nowt. Slow news week?

Getting a real job giving something back to Society would be better, you know, you might just gain a conscience and a heart.

And why read 2013 forum threads, resurrect them pointlessly and call them blogs?

Do you even know what private land is?

    Adios.

  • MMMM - small minded, arrogant, self righteous, little individual. For your information this is only the second post i have ever made not just on this site, but ever. I have read a few blogs and been put off giving my opinion because of self perceived "guardians of the blog" like you- i am not the person you think may have posted here before. You should take a look at yourself before making comments on others. Not being a regular to this type of forum, the fact that you would seemingly have over 10,000 posts makes YOU the sad and lonely individual - when was the last time you went out ?. Here's the point - The signs erected and the parking regulations being enforced in this manner is down to people like you parking where they should not in the first place.. You have no right to park in an area you are not entitled to - how's about I come to your house - park my car in your drive and leave it there for several days ? !!!! you off wouldn't it ? We as owners or tenants of houses / flats in these areas have to pay a premium for a parking space that we have allocated to our address, within our residential area (private property). Think to yourself and be pragmatic without any of your BS.... What entitlement you have to park in MY residential area when you have no right to be there. Readers of this blog should have considered not parking where they shouldn't have in the first place instead of bleeting over the fact that they have received a fine for something they shouldn't have done in the first place. You wouldn't contest a public violation order given to you by the police for urinating in public would you... in principal, not much difference. Get a life buddy and conform to the basic social rules of life.... Don't bother replying to this post - I wouldn't grace you with a further response - Bye Bye
