Can neighbour do this?

  • For 24 of those years, he's been running a business from their illegally; i.e. he does not have planning permission from the Council to do this.

A complaint that relies on any notion of nuisance is surely going to fall when you are asked, "so tell us Mr SPELLKASTER, how long has this being going on?" Or perhaps that's a typo.

Also this thread seems eerily familiar, you're not the person who in another thread is accusing his neighbour of being Polish in a built-up area, are you?

    Xmas Saver!
Council sent him a warning letter back in October asking him to stop doing car repairs, because I foned and reported him!! They told me he was not registered as running a business from there!!

Ring the council and report him again.

How will he know it is you unless you tell him.

what other thread no this is different.

my neighbour is english by the way.

not only that they have been selling items on ebay; i looked at their facebook!!

he must rake in at least £1000 a week in car servicing; he has vehicles out their every day doing work on them!!

council sent him warning letter back in october asking him to stop doing this; he hasn;t. plus he had a house burglary back in early 2012 and he alledged that £20k in cash was missing in a safe from the front room!!

i'm sure that tax and revenue would like to know where this money came from!!!

It can be terrible when you live next to an awful neighbour.

I feel sorry for the guy who lives next door to you.

It would be unusual to see covenants preventing home businesses on most older houses.

Our 1930s house has loads of stuff about not running a business from home with lots of examples listed.

 hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world
  • he is well known in our area for doing car repirs; plus he has a verbal agreement with the aa!!

council told me quite clearly he had no permission to run a business from his adress!!

if you lot think this is okay for him to defraud tax and revenue i am quite shocked; your quite happy to sit there and moan about people claiming benefits they are not entitled to!!
