She should be absolutely fine Jannine. Both of my boys slept face down with blankets wrapped round their heads from a young age. I tried rolling them back onto their backs but they just moved back, and when I took the blankets away I had very upset babies. Did my best to learn to live with it as I was just never going to win that one. Despite many panicky nights on my part they are both very much alive and well and both eventually grew out of it. :)

That's how he sleeps, face to the mattress, bum in the air :o

Both my younger 2 did the blanket thing... Still do.

One chews it, the other holds it up to her face and it has to be a particular blanket.

If it makes them happy then its fine with me!

One of my older ones used to hold the labels on soft toys up to her face, and my eldest used to sleep bum in the air.

    We are all different :rotfl:

Morning Katie and all - my LO wasn't told either! I'm definitely having a nap today. LO and I are currently eating French toast - I added whipped cream and blueberries to mine (although I know some people on here would say that's wrong!) since it's mother's day :)

Tummy sleeping - my LO sometimes does it and now that she's older and I've stopped panicking about it I'm always pleased when she does it as she seems to sleep better that way. She refuses to be put to sleep on her tummy though - has to be on her right side, stubborn little thing!

Hope everyone has a lovely mother's day - Jannine, did you get your breakfast in bed? No such thing here - right now I'm eating breakfast that I made myself whilst hubby is still in bed! Although LO did make me a lovely card at nursery - photos of her doing various nursery activities at the front & finger painting at the back :) It's very cute ♥

Obviously Freddie's too young to know it's Mothers' Day but I thought the OH might make a bit of an effort. Apparently not. Apparently he doesn't 'do' Mothers' Day, never did with his own mother, and doesn't expect anything when it's Fathers' Day (so at least he's not a hypocrite!).

Really upset. I don't ask for much. I look after Freddie all day, every day. I'm permanently exhausted but I still manage to have a smile on my face and dinner cooked every night. A bunch of daffodils would have been nice. Feel like crying. Am I overreacting?

Sunshine, it took milk here too. After being up for 2 hours we gave in...

Edited to add: your cake looks fantastic - well done you! :D
