Just adding myself to list. Today I have showered, got dressed, cleaned house and been to supermarket. . All with a 3 week old! !! Things are getting better. I've also had 7 hrs of broken but refreshing sleep! OH did help of course. I've still the hurdle of being a mum alone to contend with on Monday! So so so much respect for single mums. I had anyway but they deserve medals..I couldn't do it!

Completely agree with your comment re. single mums - they do indeed deserve medals. Ditto for stay at home mums and anyone else spending all day, every day with small children - lovely as they are, they're hard work!

Hi ladies, long time no 'see'! Welcome and congratulations to all the new members who've joined since i last popped in x

Well I've been back at work for 2 months now and finally seem to be finding my feet with it all at last but it's been tough! Have increased my hours to full time as we're almost certain to be made redundant at the end of March and my redundancy package will be calculated using the average of my last 6 months earnings so financially the short term pain will be worthwhile as I'll be able to look for a part time job closer to home and get to spend more time at home with little miss

As for my little lady, she is flourishing - with something new to show me daily it seems atm. Her walking is really good and we've bought our first pair of shoes today which was far more emotional then I thought, was kind of accepting my little baby is actually a toddler

Oh, could somebody add me to the list? I don't know how to do it on my phone: Shaylen born 30/11/2012. Thank you x

I'm back to work on Friday after having 9 months off. I'm only doing 2hrs a day, in the mornings, I'll be gone before lo wakes up and back after he's had his first bottle. I kept thinking that 1st November was still months away. I'm gutted it's not

It might not be as bad as you think Things I love about going to work: drinking coffee whilst it's still hot, having breakfast in peace, adult conversation, wearing proper clothes with no food stains on them, doing my hair and make-up.... and being reunited with my little girl in the afternoon, hearing all about her day and giving her a great big cuddle
