Hello Mozzy
we will get the Pourty potty too as we will need one for upstairs it looks good x
Nutella hello glad you are both well :hello: we know about the tantrum stage lol. The [STRIKE][/STRIKE]fisher price tunes are amusing tbh the most irritating thing was he figured out how to take everything off (allthe inside bits of the potty) to get to the two little sensor buttons to press them to make it sing monster!! I put it back together and he takes it apart a bit like duplo and scatters it round! The proof will be when we eventually use it properly, it looks like a mini toilet though and will be fun hopefullyx0 -
If it helps, Eilis and I rarely change out of our jammies and we're 10 weeks on! I do put her in clean jammies though, not that arsed about me! :rotfl:My Debt Free Diary

For all those struggling to get dressed ... It does get easier. I found I could either shower & dressed or have brekkie & my hair would get washed, but never dried and even then that was pushing it. I nipped into the shower before OH left for work and then with T on the bed watching I could get dressed .... Found that singing "I am the music man" with lots of actions works well..... The trombone for putting a top on and banging your foot for a bass drum great for trousers, lol!
We're away for the week now, visiting various family (my mum & sister). T is 25 weeks tomorrow and we've resisted weaning until he's 6 months. Feeling that 1 week may have made all the difference as he's been sooo hungry the past couple of days. Feeding every couple of hours and waking at night for a massive feed. Haven't bought any foody prep stuff with us (coverall/high chair etc for blw). Is it just a normal growth spurt, or is it a big fat obvious sign for solids that we're completely ignoring?
Claree I wouldn't say T was playing with toys at 10 weeks, not really grabbing at them. He would look bemused and be entertained by me wiggling his squeaky panda at him by about then.
Off to try and get some sleep.x0 -
Could someone add me to the list, I seem to lose the icons if I try. LO was born 03/07/13 and she's pink
I'm not dressed today as she's not feeling well and won't let me leave the room, she's going out at 12 though so I'll have the chance to shower and do a load of housework.0 -
Lazywife BLW isn't a hard and fast rule of weaning at exactly 26 weeks, it's baby led, which means just that
give them a go with food, if they can manage to sit up in a high chair etc pick it up and get to mouth, they're ready
whether that's 22/23/24 or even 28 weeks
so it's worth giving it a go x

Can I just say that I LOVE Saturdays. Eilis slept from 10pm to 7am, pulled her into bed for a cuddle and she slept for another hour before getting up with her daddy to let me sleep 'till 10 - luxury! My Debt Free Diary

Hope everyone is well. I'm back from hospital, had to stay in overnight as they didn't find me a bed til late and I needed observing for a few hours. I feel like I've been run over by a bus but otherwise fine.
The girls stayed over at Granny's last night, but I did call to see them on the way home. Was awful not being able to pick them up and cuddle them. They are still there for now and are staying at their Nanny and Grandad's tonight. I feel like I'm palming them off on family but I know there's not a great deal I can do about it
Hope everyone is well, I have read back but cant remember anything!:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

Glad your ok cake, don't feel bad about the girls, I'm sure they need their mummy well more than you worrying over having two nights away from them! Enjoy the peace and get some rest!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0
