The vtech toot toot garage and associated vehicles can beat most toys to the most irritating thing ever prize! The emergency vehicles are the worst "I'm a brave police car on my way to stop the crime" and the voice...shudders. It also shouts "lets be quick to catch the burglar!" At full volume. George plays with them switched off a lot.
So Thats what it says! My friend sent us a german police toot toot car. The songs in german are a lot less annoying than the english delivery truck we have, It also seems quieter.0 -
My Vtech walker lives at Daddy's house, yay!
Nutella I was lookng at one called the Nabi2 (I think?) which seems to be a normal tablet with a kids mode and a drop resistant bumper. Or, buy a cheap windows phone with kids corner, and don't put a sim in it, that's what I doIt was meant to be mine, but he's appropriated it!
Sigh, made those pastry wheels yesterday (after googling cos I couldn't find the page here). Just tried him with a cold bit, he spat it out.0 -

Mine prefers whacking me with Bear Hunt till I read it, or playing with my phone. Not sure what that means he'll turn into?0 -
However, eldest loves the xylophone thing with the animals on, anyone got that? He found, in French, I am a seal sounds naughty!0

Hello all!
T has had a couple of bad nights... after 3or4 sleeping through in a row! He wakes about 3 ish, feeds, but then is awake for an hour before going back to sleep. He's chuckling, cooing & gurgling in his crib, just not tired out, but it keeps us up. OH really doesn't cope with little sleep and I just don't know what to say to him. It's his day off and he slept from 11pm - 3am, then 4am-9am (as I got up with T when he woke at 7am), now he's gone back to bed for 2hrs, complaining he's tired. I'm holding my tongue as he's had far more sleep than I've had any night for the past 4 months, but I'm only a housewife!?!?!0 -

Anyway sorry for my depressing posts yesterday, I think the whole having a baby lack of sleep finally caught up with me, 6 months on. I'm feeling a lot more positive this morning.
Yesterday was my fault, I let lo get over tired in the morning because I needed to get stuff done. We bought a travel cot so he could nap there while I pottered about however because his sleep went so bad I started taking him to nap in bed so I could nap with him, problem is, he's used to me cuddling him to sleep so he doesn't want to sleep in the travel cot again! But I'm going to try and sort it, I don't think this clingyness is helping at the minute.
Anyway, everyone enjoy your day, thank you all for your support! Helps to know others have gone through it. I'm just glad I have put back the date I go back to work, was meant to be soon but don't think lo would cope!
Oh we have that bus. It used to belong to the twins (they had one each, don't remember what happened to the other one, maybe I took a hammer to it) it was very very annoying with two of them going all day. Thankfully the novelty has worn off now and I think I can squirrel it away :rotfl:
Glad to hear you're okay sammie :TMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I have the cookie jar!!!0

A has the cookie jar, the v-tech walker and a remote control (she kept grabbing the proper ones). Her remote control has a little tune "I've got the remote and I'm ready roll, changing the channel because I'm in control" haha i quite like it!
Felt a little better today so went to swimming, bless her - she does love it!
Now I need some opinion: this weekend we're off to Devon but as OH is coming too will only be leaving about 8pm Fri night. A will be 21 weeks on Friday (5 months next week) so my question is: as she'll be sleeping (and she no longer has a night feed) could we just drive through - it takes us 4hrs, or do we need to stop, wake her to give her a break, and then carry on?
When we arrive, I'll obviously transfer her into the travel cot for the rest of the night.0 -
Saffagal I would keep driving myself. I wouldn't want to wake her, I know they say don't leave them for too long in their car seats, but as long as she's sitting in it properly and not slouched over (mine sometimes would do this no matter how reclined she was!!) then I'd be trying to drive through, unless you guys need to stop as it'll be late and for a pee!!Got married 13/11/10

Keep on driving Saf, we did 4.5hrs back from center parcs at 7 weeks cos he was asleep and content. It's not like he sleeps in his car seat regularly.
(he did feed like a demon for the rest of the day ,so I didn't neglect him, promise.x)0
