Katie, he is 10weeks, his gums look ok but I have a teething ring in the fridge for when it gets really bad. I would love to go jumping in puddles, used to love that!Mum of 2 :j0

Hello
Hope everyone's well and had a good weekend. Quiet one here - X Factor and takeaways here too, with a bit of shopping yesterday.
Working from home today - currently listening in to a staff meeting online whilst cooking a bolognese for lunch and catching up on here
I have a snotty little child here too, but she's happily playing with her aquadoodle mat and seems fine.0 -
Does anyone have a changing table/station?? I used to use an old desk in the spare room, but we have now thrown that out to make room for a proper bed to put DD1 in as we are juggling the rooms a bit.
I'm 30+4 DD2 is due at the end of Nov. Is it worth getting one and would I still be able to use it with DD1 who is a hefty 27lb and 17 mths, I've looked at a few and they say from birth to 12 mths, whereas some don't say anything.Got married 13/11/10

Lola, we decided against one and have always changed LO on a changing mat on the bed in the spare room. I'd definitely not want to change her on a table now, given how mobile she is (16 months old) - I'd worry about her falling off. At least on the bed there's plenty of space and hence time for me to catch her! Nothing wrong with changing them on the floor either if you've got the space and no back problems!...0

R.e the chewing of the hands, around 3 months it's very common for them to put EVERYTHING in there mouth, and there hands are one of the first things as they're very much at there disposal, with no effort. 10 weeks is young for teething but it's not to say it isn't either, I feel that A teethed (is that even a word?) on and off from around 12 weeks, but we didn't see a tooth until 6 months so who knows? The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

My lo has his hands in his mouth every waking minute since he found them haha but still no teeth
Well my good sleeper has vanished, he started sleeping through from 8 weeks however for the last 4 he's been waking sometimes every hour from 1am for his dummy. It's driving me crazy!
Was trying to go to a playgroup this morning but its been chucking it down most of today, no way I was going out in that!going to try a different couple when the weather is nicer!

Hi Sammie! :hello: Hope you and Noah are well
Sorry I can't help with the swimming question - I've never used any kind of floating device with my LO, but once upon a time when I used to take OH's son swimming (he was 3 years old then - now he's 14!) we used inflatable arm bands.

Hi All
So after having my mom visiting for the past month and a half, my cousin and her husband too for the weekend... they've all headed to my cousin's house for the week and I have my house back. Don't get me wrong, it is lovely to see my mom... but having her stay for that length of time I find wearing so this week's respite is very much needed as will have both my folks here until the end of October after we go and collect them at the weekend.
A is coming on in leaps and bounds and I am just loving being her mom. We started a music bugs group a couple weeks ago and she smiles the whole way through. She's enjoying her swimming lessons too though when the instructor wanted her to copy me blowing bubbles in the water she thought me blowing bubbles was so hilarious she just laughed and laughed so I decided not to try bringing her mouth down to water level... don't think swimming pool water should be the first drink she has apart from bm!
I can't contribute to the flying discussion, but did appreciate it as we'll have either an 11hr flight, layover and 1hr flight or an 8hr flight, layover, 7hr flight when little miss is about 7/8 months old.
She's getting very proficient at moving backwards and gets ever so frustrated as she gets further and further from the toy she's aiming for. She's four and a half months old now so a little while until we start weaning, but should I start getting her used to sitting in the highchair at meal times?
Take care all
