  • Hello ladies,

Hope your all having a great weekend, me and oh went to the cinema last night, then he's been watching footie at the pub all day and tomorrow I'm visiting my friends newborn and my cousin for a catch up/moan!

I've looked into playgroups in my area today so have decided I am going to give a couple of them a go this week :) I'm going to try extra hard to be chatty and sociable. I don't mind it being just me and lo most of the time but some days I feel like I don't entertain him enough!

Made the mistake of trying him with some broccoli today, didn't help his reflux at all, I've been using jars at the minute, using all the freebies, money off vouchers to try his first tastes and then was planning on making all my own. Seems I may be slightly limited at the beginning with certain veggies being bad for reflux! Meh!

Anyway have told oh we are having a early night, to actually sleep not the other thing! Lo keeps waking me 4 times a night for his dummy being put back in, where's my great sleeper gone? Gr

    Night all :)

Not sure how old yours is but one way of countering this problem is to get like 4/5 dummies and litter them around the cot so if they wake up theirs always one pretty much in sight/reach :D

  • Evening everyone, hope you are all well. Haven't been on in absolutely ages. I suppose its to be expected when 10 month old twins are on the move! They're not quite walking yet but they are so so ready. Taking them shoe shopping in the next few days. They are standing on their own now but just cant quite make their 1st few steps :D

I am now preparing (or trying to at nap times) for their 1st birthday party :T

I just cant believe a year has gone by already, well on the 1st Nov it will be. I'm trying to sort out a few things I would like to have decoration wise but I definitely need Granny to look after the girls while I do it. Got lots to do!

Sorry for no personals, I read back sooooo many pages and cant remember a thing. Hello to the new people

Morning everyone, been v quiet on here! Just goes to show once they're toddlers and only have one nap a day, your free time just dwindles as you need eyes in the back of your head while they're awake

Just checking in while we both eat breakfast, at least he's contained to the high chair then ;)

Hope everyone is well. With my OH starting a new job, he has had a month off in between, which means money is tight but it also means we've had loads of time off together, which is great as I can get on with so much stuff as he can entertain A while I do it. Completely up to date with all my washing and ironing (the sad things that makes us happy)

Did anyone do anything nice at the weekend? We had a quiet one here, X Factor and Chinese take out on Saturday :o It's my birthday next weekend but I don't have any plans, so no idea what we will end up doing :o

  • Morning, hope everyone is well. Gilly im sure uou are pleased to have all your laundry caught up with, im constantly playing catch up! Silly question but lo is chewing his fists quite a lot, could this be a teething sign? His cheeks are quite rosy too. We have the tots group on wednesday, im sure it will be grand once I start chatting to some of the other mums.
    Mum of 2 :j
  • Morning ladies :)

Sunshine I'm looking forward to getting G some wellies and letting him jump in puddles :D Hope A gets used to his soon. I like the sound lion wellies!

Not today though - little guy is full of cold. Fairly happy though, I'm just constantly wiping his snotty nose.

Minimuffin sounds like teething to me, how old is your LO?
