Can anyone recommend and cheap toys for 9-12mo? We've not actually bought any. And with his birthday and Christmas being together we'll have to invest in some mid year.

Stacking toys and shape sorters are good. The Stack and Drop Froggie from ELC is still popular, as is the activity triangle. And books from the 'That's not my...' series - she loves them :)

Good luck on the BLW front Mrsh2b. It's a lot of playing to begin with so just enjoy it.

Bamama's question has just reminded me: I need a couple of new toys that can be attached to the buggy. Freddie the Firefly isn't very exciting anymore, and the caterpillar book has been read to death :o Any suggestions for something that might keep a 15-month-old happy for longer than five seconds?

I dont have one, but have you thought about those clip on steering bars? They have them in ELC with a wheel and key etc. x
