Welcome Claree and Congratulations! I hope that your recovery is smooth x
Congratulations on the job, sunshine
Savage hope little savage is not too feeling too poorly and that you're managing ok
Nutella , Hope that you little one is ok and that you're feeling better about things too - it can be nerve wracking when they get a bump. We were visiting my sil the other week and her two (almost 3) year old slipped and knocked A on the head. A screamed for a bit but I think it was more shock from the bump than anything else as she was fine.
Hmm, I saw your post about the mothercare offers and went shopping - oops! But in my defence, I am buying her wardrobe for 6-9 months as we're comfortable in 3-6 at the moment and I don't want to suddenly find she's nothing to wear.
Lazywife you sound very organised with everything booked for T's christening.
Dippydooda the sleep will happen. I thought A wouldn't get any better, she slept for 4 - 5hours at the start of the night and then would wake 2 -3hrly thereafter BUT we moved her into her own room at 12 weeks (she'd outgrown the moses and cot doesn't fit in our room) and from the first night she started sleeping through. The first week she slept from 9/10 through until 5 or 6 and has extended this until she is now sleeping from between 8:30/9:30 to 7/8am. I'm still ebf her.
AFM, A had her 16 week jabs yesterday and reacted as she did at her 8 week jabs - lots of screaming and very out of sorts yesterday evening so I gave her a dose of calpol and she eventually calmed down and slept well. Today, apart from skipping her nap this morning, she was fine so fingers crossed. She's really trying to move now and as soon as I put her down she rolls over. Today she has started moving herself backwards which means she is taking herself further away from the toy she is aiming for so some little tantrums. She also threw a proper little tantrum this morning when I took her away from playing to get dressed... think I may have a little madam! She certainly knows her own mind!
Hope that you've all had a lovely day ladies and are looking forward to the long weekend

Hi Ladies
Thanks for the congrats, I am really pleased. I have been looking for a promotion for the last year or so and atleast I can stay in my team and work my current hours, and extra money will def help with the new mortgage. Typical though A had a bad sleep the night before, his first bad one in about 8weeks!! Scary interview though, it was with my 2 managers who I am quite close to so made it worse. Have a bad head today though, think its just been all the worrying.
Hope everyone is well. Aiden is well and truly scabbed over so hoping it dries up soon. Really hoping we get a moving date soon...want to get boxing bits up.
I went to sainsburys and stocked up on 18-24 bits. Also boots have 3for2 on all baby bits, so got some snacks and jumper and jeans.

Hi ladies, hope you and bubs are all well!
Haven't had a chance to read back as little miss has started walking unaided and for longer stretches has mastered bends/corners with the walker so I'm shattered lol. So glad she decided to take the plunge and step away from the cruising before i go back to work but it is at times making me long for the days she would stay where she was put for more then 30 seconds! The jumperoo will need packing away as she whinges non-stop of she's in it when only a few days ago she loved it!
Will read back properly now and catch up but welcome :j and congrats New mummies! X0 -
Congrats sunshine! :T x0

Yeah lazy he is just turned 3 months!he took ages to fill his newborn/first size stuff but then whizzed through them and has hit his 0-3. Feels like a lot of his stuff has hardly been worn or not at all, a lot to do with the weather. People had made him lovely, tiny cardies/jumpers but its just been too hot. Oh well maybe I'll have another tiddler next time
Thanks Saffa you give me hope!thoughi just can't imagine it ever happening for me!specially has some daytimes he is starving(or claims to be) after an hour!
Daydream sounds like hard work!! But nice it's all happening before you start work.0 -
Dippy, I feed on demand during the day and that has settled to every 2-3hrs (sometimes longer if we're out, if hot more frequent but shorter fèeds) but early evening she feeds more frequently and if she niggles I offer. I just see this as topping up to then last through the night.
Off to visit mil for a cuppa this morning
Hope you all have a lovely day

Hey ladies :hello:
we have had internet trouble so I have been AWOL (sorry!) and theres a lot of reading back to do
Well my big baby is three *blub* all at once she doesn't seem like a baby anymoreand little miss isn't far behind in that stake since we seem to have a new word almost every day now. In fact I've managed to get on OH's laptop and she is enthusiastically banging the keyboard so if this post doesn't have any huge typos it'll be a miracle
Well done sunshine, glad you'll have lots of new perks and no extra hours :j
Yay for walking
And welcome to new mummies
We keep having powercuts... oh joy... at one point when Squeak was tiny we were having two or three really long ones a week and then they apparently fixed it, then we had one on wednesday in the middle of the night and it was off most of yesterday evening. hope we're not heading back to it being constant. Luckily I'm a keyring fiend (they make them, easier to find in my litterbin handbag) and one of the ones I've got is a really bright LED torch.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine before it disappears for good.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Morning ladies
Hope everyone is well. DDB, yay for walking!
Tooth number 6 is here - she's catching up fast! Had a much better night as a result. She's currently asleep clutching her new favourite thing; a soft and fluffy orangutan that my dad gave her
Hope everyone has a nice day x0
