Sorry, I have not read back yet, so I can't reply to stuff, I hope everyone is well!
Mrsharworth and any other around Manchester, how about meeting next week? Savage and I could do Thursday or Friday in the day, what do you say? :)

    Cake, happy belated birthday :D

Re. clothes - it really is incredible how much sizes vary, even from the same shop. I find H&M sizes small though.

LO is not sleeping well at my parents' - she always used to, but she's much more aware of her surroundings now and seems unsettled. That, or we've got more teeth on the way :o But other than that, we're enjoying ourselves :)

Hope everyone else is well x
  • Hi Marta, I can't do this week sorry my oh is off work so want to spend lots of time with him! I am up for a meet though! Are you in Manchester?

Had the christening today! Lo fell asleep in the church until I passed him to daddy and daddy passed him to minister! Then he grumbled but was fine again after! Had a brill sleep in the car getting to the do and then for a bit at the beginning of the do!
Had a feed and was extra socialable but then got overtired when grandad took him for a walk and screamed the place down!

Then family members kept coming in the room as I tried to soothe him to ask if they could hold him! In the end packed him up and got him home on my own! I got oh to apologise to people for not saying bye but my nerves were shattered by the time I got home! Lo is sparked out now but have to wake him for his last bottle before bed! Oh has stayed out.... Wonder what mess he comes home in tonight!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I'm glad mines over with!

  • Hello all :)

Glad christening went as well as can be mrsh, hope he sleeps well for you and your OH isnt too bad!!

Awful thing happened tonight, at my mums in the conservatory and Aiden went to pick up a ornament vase thing, me and my mum both said no at the same time, not sure if he jumped or just pulled it but the whole thing fell on the floor and smashed. He screamed and I thought he had frightened himself so just went to cuddle him and saw blood. His cheek was bleeding, I panicked and luckily my mum didnt, she ran to get me a flannel and OH. Aiden was screaming and I was sobbing too, OH tried to wipe him but he wouldnt let him near. Calmed him down and managed to clean it, luckily there was no ceramic or anything on him, its a small graze and a scratch but its so close to his eye he has been really lucky. Still not sure what happened, whether it knocked him before it fell or if a piece bounced off the floor tile and caught him.
I feel so awful, he looks a right mess. Its his first proper war wound so maybe thats why I feel so upset, poor little thing. Needless to say, my mums windowsills are now empty. Checked him before I came to bed and put a tiny smear of sudocrem on to see if it will soothe it a bit. Its only a small scratch but I panicked because of the blood :( I feel so bad.

    Night ladies x

    Morning all.

So sorry to hear that Sunshine, they can be little warriors at times, but never the less by the time he's up this morning he'l have forgotten all about it, they're good that way :o It's harder for us mummys to forget. Hope he's ok xx

Glad the christening went well Mrs H and hope your OH doesn't have a sore head this morning ;)

Hope you're having a lovely holiday Nutella, and enjoying time with your folks.

R.e the clothes, sizes are all over the place but generally because I have such a titchy one, the only stuff that bothers us is massive stuff (Asda and M&S I'm looking at you!) Everywhere else he generally wears the same size from.

Oh also I popped into TK Maxx on Saturday morning and found a Pink Lining bag for less than half price  of course I bought it, even though I don't NEED a new changing bag. Oops.....

Oh sunshine that's horrible :( I hope he's ok today. As Gilly said, try forget quickly. We had our first accident... He was sat up a bit too close to the fireplace and fell backwards onto it (he never bloody falls). Well I panicked! Nipped around the doctors with him as it's only around the corner. He had a nice little lump but they told me to come back later as he seemed fine. When we went back they checked him over and said we'd need to go to hospital for obs. So now he's been to all 4 of the local hospitals, only Cardiff left and we don't wanna go there! We weren't there long, the lump had practically completely gone by then. Scary but he's fine.
  • Aw poor babies with their lumps, cuts and bumps :o

Hope they all get over them quickly. Im sure they will be the 1st of many though!

Amelia still isn't right. She's not been eating great all week and today she threw up all over. Proper vomiting with retching and everything, not just the usual bringing up milk like they usually do :(. Think it gave her a bit of a fright bless her

She did perk up a bit after that though so maybe her morning milk was just resting heavy on her stomach

MrsH, glad your christening went well x
