Little miss has mastered using her walker today, well in straight lines anyway the walls/doors/windows have all been crashed into as they keep getting in the way ;) she's ever so chuffed with her achievement x

  • Thank you sunshine x the cute face is what's saved her from being sent to live in the shed because she has become a right stroppy little miss lately lol.

    Hi ladies :)

Hope everyone's well; just a quick one from me as LO and I are visiting my parents for a few days. The flight went well, as did the MMR booster and yellow fever jab (for holiday later this year) earlier in the day.

Candlewax, I don't have much to add to what everyone else has said, but just to echo what's already been said: it will take you a few weeks to get into your new routine, but your little one will be absolutely fine and so will you :) I went back to work when LO was almost 9 months and was so ready for it - I love spending time with her, but I also love being around other adults, wearing clean clothes and make up, drinking coffee whilst it's still hot, having breakfast at my desk in peace and talk about stuff other than nappies and poo! My LO loves her nursery and does all sorts of fun stuff with her friends :) Please don't feel guilty - you're not a bad mum.

    Sunshine, congrats on your interview!

By the way, tooth number 5 is with us, which explains the dreadful few nights we've just been through - the last two have been good.

I probably won't post that frequently over the next week whilst we're away, but I'll get online when I can and keep an eye on you all! ;)

I'm so tired!! I really hate work at the moment, luckily I only have 40 shifts left until I go off on maternity.

I have noticed that my LO is a bully!! Took her to a big toddler play area yesterday she doesn't know how to share and has taken to slapping or pushing other kids out the way. I was chatting to another mum she has a 20 mth old, my LO is 16 almost 17 mths and she just pushed the other kid out the way, she was quite a bit bigger as well!!

I grabbed hold of my LO and got down to her level and told her how naughty it was and she went to slap me!! I told her a bit more sternly she pouted and then ran off laughing. It wasn't just the once either. I told my mother and she told me I have to keep telling her off, but at least I know she wouldn't be bullied in school! Thanks mum really helpful. I hope she stops as I can see other mums looking at me :(

I think she is hitting the terrbile twos early, she was a complete pain when I took her to the park- wanted to be carried then walking on her own, then carried, walking, carried etc. Then to top it off she decided to sit down and no matter what I said or did she was content sitting there playing with a muslin cloth!!

I picked her up and she began screaming and wouldn't sit in her pram, but wouldn't walk or be carried!!

I got her home and promptly dumped her with DH and said you sort her out! She then turned into a complete angel!!! :A:doh:
