I made flapjack last night, love how quick it is. I use apricots and sultanas they're nice and sticky x

I freeze my flapjacks once they're done :D so can just take them out in the morning. I use honey too rather than syrup, it's lovely x

I'm here in spirit - enjoyed a single day without any work yesterday but snowed under again now. Looking after the terrorbag all day and attempting to keep on top of the housework and then sitting down to work all night as soon as he's in bed gets old very quickly. Just had a cake break so popped on :o

I've used honey in baking for G before, think the only thing I really avoid now are things like whole nuts that he could choke on :) and too much salt etc etc obv :o

  • Hiya, I'm wanting a jumperoo now!!but LO isn't holding his head all the time yet, he is coming up to 3 months but was 5wks prem. another few weeks til he can go in one I guess. Is the rainforest one better than the discover and grow one? H slept for 5 hours lastnight :) and has started to go off in the crib in his own which is brilliant cos he was just crying when we put him down :)hope tonight is similar! Hope everyone's ok x

They are all very similar DippyDooda, we had the rainforest but if you can get the discover and grow cheaper I'd go for the cheapest option personally :o

Forgot to mention earlier, I think our back molars are coming, he has been soooo miserable the past few days, keeps bringing the anbesol to me, and last night was horrific, match sticks were needed today. I'm going to the inlaws tomorrow which is already such a long day so praying for a much better night tonight :o

Hi all, don't post on her much but read the thread lots.
I am really struggling. LO had his first few hours without me with the childminder yesterday. He cried a bit, wouldn't take his bottle, but generally seemed ok. I know he will cry and will take time to settle. I am just really not managing my emotions about this well. I am returning to work 3 day for 3 months then full time. So we are doing this gradually. I am just dreading dropping him off again on Monday, he is only spending a few hours there again but I just hate the thought of it. He looked so confused when i left him last time. I feel so alone, I am not close to my family, don't feel i can burden friends and my husband just doesn't seem to get why I am really finding this hard. I am having horrible dreams about LO being left on his own. This really is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I am worried also because weaning isn't going well, he just doesn't seem bothered with food. Also he is in a very good napping routine, but this will go to pot with the childminder as she seems to take them out in the buggy to nap not put him in a cot. I know this isn't the end of the world am I overreacting? This is just so hard. I know it is my issues, she seems like a really good childminder. Just really finding this difficult emotionally.

We have been lucky here with teething, doesn't seem to bother him much. Hope little man is feeling better soon and you manage to get some rest.

We are swimming this morning then taking the boys to Pizza Hut with my friend and her 2 kiddies as a treat :) I need to get my bum into hear and buy their school uniform next week too before the mad rush! Not looking forward to seeing how much that costs!

Hope everyone has a nice day.
